this game is good because it has undertaker, kane, mankind, the rock, stonecoldsteveaustin.on this game there is no smackdown stage. because smackdown made its debut at the same time as this game did.and i am not complaing because i do have cable and do watch raw on spike tv.

You have to be patient to get the real grasp of the buttons and what they do. The way you do your moves is screwy but as long as you have patience, you shouldn’t dislike it and you should really like it. I put for 4 because The animation is kinda crappy(the wrestling run goofy and usuallly limited amounts of moves). Also there is no create a wrestler unless you have a controller pak.

YEs the graphics are off Nintendo qality, The game was created on a shoe sting budget……. but a highlight is it has many past superstars like Droz,Thrasher,Too Sexy (Past superstar and gimmick),Rock’s heel theam….. and DX………. and the carrer mode can be enteraing but dont exsept storylines just matchs…. Creating a superstar is fun to, you can do just about anyone even WCW guys (but no theams)and in easyer ways to. The Downside,,, Its real easy for the game to skip the opeing theams so you got to get certan stipulatons to get the openin theams…….. The wretlers move and walk funny to and even talk funny,,, The commintaters so ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!! but they can be turned off and with a cheat that can be earned even make theam squeaky…….

When I was a kid, I had WWF Attitude for the PS1, and I thought it was one of the best wrestling games ever. While today it may be overshadowed by the modern wrestling games, Attitude itself is not a bad wrestling game. In fact, I’d say it’s a great wrestling game. The controls, while a little on the complex side, definitely work in this game. It’s just like a arcade fighting game, like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter, pressing buttons in different combinations to execute different moves (For example: Left, Right, B). The animation, while obviously nowhere near as good as modern graphics, were great for the time, and I think better than Wrestlemania 2000. The voice acting and taunts are pretty cool, though they can be quite random (for example, if you turn the language to :Teen", at the beginning of a cage match with Owen Hart, X-Pac uttered "Your a$$ is grass, and I’m gonna smoke it!", an obvious weed reference). And finally, as a bit of bias towards one of my favorite wrestlers, it was one of, if not the last game to feature the late, great Owen Hart. So Attitude: great game not only for the time, but it still holds up due to it’s challenge.

Good shop. The game just isn’t as good as I remember.

WWF Attitude was pretty good. It was basically an expanded version of WWF Warzone and this time around you had a lot more control in the game as in actually creating a wrestler instead of copying another wrestler’s moves. The problem with Attitude was that the game was very predictable and after a while kind of boring because you could only do so much in this one. I will say that you got what you paid for because this game was entertaining and pretty fun to play with friends. You had a lot more clothing options with the create a character. One thing that bothered me about the Create a wrestler on Wrestlemania 2000 was that you had very few options with your wrestler’s face whereas in Attitude you had dozens of masks, face paint and hats and several other items to make your character more individual. The one thing that isn’t too great is that this game has a really tricky curve as far as the learning goes because the controls are a little tricky and weird and difficult (not as bad as WCW/NWO Nitro) but the game as a whole is still too easy (unless you get stuck in a 3 on 1 match, which might I add was a terrible idea!).I’d have to say unless you really want to check this out, I would rent this one first because there are much better WWF (now WWE) games out there and you could easily find a better one. Still if you must, go ahead and check it out!

I played this when I first got my N64 back in 1999, it was one of the first two games I owned for the system, the other was Star Wars Episode 1 Podracer. Very big wrestling fan, and loved learning how to execute the moves even if my thumbs grew callouses from overplaying. Great game for 1999 when it was relased, love how you have to start at the bottom working house shows and work yourself up to win title shots to the Euro, Intercontinental and World Titles, great modes, lots of fun, and even a deccent create a wrestler for the time, not as good as No Mercy in that respect but it was one of Acclaim’s best efforts on the WWF liscence. The game gets a bad rep for being released at a time when WCW had superior games like WCW World Tour and WCW/nWO Revenge based on Virtual Pro Wrestling (JAP), with easier more intuative control schemes that would go on to be the standard in wrestling games from then on. While I agree that the gameplay was alot easier and a lot more quick paced, it was not as rewarding as pulling off a tombstone in Attitude, or another complicated moved that required precision button combos much like in Mortal Kombat or other Akklaim fighting games, it feels like an accomplishment to hit a simple move like a drop kick or a piledriver.Great shop, and am enjoying this game thoroughly.
