Xbox 360 Console Bundle: Minecraft

Minecraft focuses on allowing the player to explore, interact with, and modify a dynamically-generated map made of one-cubic-meter-sized blocks. In addition to blocks, the environment features plants, mobs, and items. Some activities in the game include mining for ore, fighting hostile mobs, and crafting new blocks and tools by gathering various resources found in the game. The game’s open-ended model allows players to create structures, creations, and artwork on various multiplayer servers or their single-player maps.

XBOX 360 – FEATURES

Microsoft more than brought out the big guns with the Xbox 360, bringing a true powerhouse to the table. Not only did the system have some of the best specifications for its generation, but its user-friendly graphical interface makes using the system highly enjoyable.

STRONG SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

In terms of specification, the Xbox 360 is an absolute beast, packing a triple-core Xenon CPU clocked at 3.2 GHz. Combined with its 500Mhz ATI graphics processor, it’s no wonder that it was the first console to truly bring HD gaming to the table, being capable of outputting on 1080p resolution straight out of the box.

ONLINE PLAY

Highly acclaimed at launch, Xbox Live revolutionized online multiplayer for consoles. Featuring voice chat, the Marketplace and Xbox Live Arcade, the high-speed, well-optimized feature really rose the bar for how we expect to play.

ACHIEVEMENTS

One of the Xbox 360’s most outstanding features are achievements – virtual awards for doing different tasks in each game. Each of them holds a certain number of points, which will keep you chasing them to get more gamer points than your friends!

XBOX 360 – THE GAMES

With over 2000 games released, the Xbox 360 library features a large number of outstanding titles, from Microsoft exclusives such as Halo, Fable and Gears of War to highly acclaimed Triple-A titles such as the Call of Duty series and even beautifully crafted indie games. Add backwards compatibility with the Original Xbox and you’re guaranteed to spend countless hours on titles you enjoy.

GRAND THEFT AUTO 5

Sitting at number 2 in the list of the best-selling video games ever, GTA 5 brings back the nostalgia of the series in a new setting, with much improved graphics and features. Set within the fictional state of San Andreas, based on Southern California, the single-player story follows three protagonists—retired bank robber Michael De Santa, street gangster Franklin Clinton, and drug dealer and arms smuggler Trevor Philips—and their efforts to commit heists while under pressure from a corrupt government agency and powerful crime figures.

HALO 4

Halo 4’s story follows a cybernetically enhanced human supersoldier, Master Chief, and his artificial intelligence construct Cortana, as they encounter unknown threats while exploring an ancient civilization’s planet. The player assumes the role of Master Chief who battles against a new faction that splintered off from remnants of the Covenant, a former military alliance of alien races, and against mechanical warriors of the Forerunner empire known as the Prometheans.

CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS

Set in the 1960s during the Cold War, the game’s campaign follows CIA operative Alex Mason as he attempts to recall certain memories in combat in order to locate a numbers station. This station is due to transmit broadcasts to sleeper agents who are bound to use chemical weapons across the United States. Locations featured in the game include Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, the Soviet Union, the United States, Hong Kong, and the Arctic Circle. The multiplayer of Black Ops features multiple objective-based game modes that are playable on 14 different maps included with the game.

GUITAR HERO 2

Like in the original Guitar Hero, the player uses a peripheral in the shape of a solid-body electric guitar to simulate playing rock music as notes scroll towards the player. Most of the gameplay from the original game remains intact, and provides new modes and note combinations. The game features more than 40 popular licensed songs, many of them cover versions recorded for the game, spanning five decades , from the 1960s to the 2000s.

SKYRIM

The game’s main story revolves around the player’s character, the Dragonborn, on their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The game is set 200 years after the events of Oblivion and takes place in Skyrim, the northernmost province of Tamriel. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open-world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.

    360… that’s it

  2. Jerry P.

    Quiet and runs great!

Not as much memory as other 360s. Still a good console choice if you don’t plan on doing much on XBOX live, downloading etc.Watch out for the external power supply though. The one I got with the used console I purchased overheated after about 30 min of gaming, leading to the XBOX shutting down. It’s an easy fix, I found a separately manufactured power supply with a built in fan, but plan on spending an additional $35 for this.

Was just as description says. Only thing couldbhave been packaged a little better. There was some movement of items in box

Super Good Product, item arrived right on time

I bought this item to get me up and moving (I use with the Kinect) and have fun doing so with the kids. We all get to laughing and sweating. My daughter has the Wii and it can be easily tricked to doing the movements. There is no cheating on these movements. Would recommend.

I have had this for over a year and still love it. My last Xbox had the "ring of death" so I upgraded to this. I hope this lasts even longer.

  8. Stephen tibbs

I got this for my kid for xmas and he has been in love ever since. he just loves to play minecraft and halo 4 on it. He also uses the netflix option all the time as well. The only downside is he is constantly on it and I have to limit his usage.

This machine is still running strong. I have since installed a 320 GB drive, and everything mechanical is still running with no issues. My only issue are with Microsoft software architecture. To say that its a pain in the a@@ would be an under statement. If it weren’t for the games I wouldn’t touch this platform.

Okay so I bought this from Cambria Bail Bonds for about $80 about 2 years ago and I must say I am so incredibly pleased. Let me give you the lowdown, won’t you? The console came in beautiful condition (a few bumps and scratches but who cares?) with all of the wires and even a fully-functioning controller with only a few scratches. Of course, this system was used and my mother had warned me that it would probably be broken or break quickly and I am very pleased to say that I have yet to find an issue. My console connects to the internet perfectly and doesn’t seem to have any problems. My friend bought a used 360 around the same time I did for $120 (from a different company) and hers broke less than a year after purchase. All I had to do to get this console working was buy a hard drive for memory purposes and an HDMI cable (this console came with an AV jack cable). In case anyone’s confused, this is one of the newest models of the Xbox 360 so it has a built-in cooling system. Couldn’t be happier with a used console!
