Bought following reading some online reviews and it’s usually not my sort of game. But it reminds me a bit of championship/football manager as where you go to play for an hour and next thing it’s 2 in the morning

Absolutely am in love with this game and the story line!

Playing for first time. It’s a clunky game & controls aren’t all that intuitive at first. LOTS of dialogue and a shamelessly enormous map. Had to play it to check out the hype. Cool game, looks great, I’m going to finish the main story and hand it up, though.

A fantastic game, it’s very nice that it also comes with worthwhile DLC. Perfect for killing time during quarantine!

Quite simply the best game I have played in 30 years of gaming. The witcher 3 has it all great charecters. One of the best storys I have ever seen in a game. A realy good fluid combat system decent graphics. And well over 100 hours of gameplay if you like me are a completionist.Geralt is definatly one of the best lead charecters I have ever seen in a game franchise.10/10 all round cant speak highly enough of this game.

One of the best open world Rpgs I have ever played and experienced the world, characters and story are fantastic even though I didnt play the previous 2 games before trying it. The DLC especially Blood And Wine were amazing too id even dare say its the best DLC ive ever played in a game. There is so many hours of enjoyment in this game I played it flat out for weeks and even when i went away for a week on a trip I was still thinking about playing it. The music is great some times i even listen to the soundtrack of it on youtube its that good. You really end up caring about what happens the characters and world you inhabit while playing and the combat system is pretty solid and fun.The only thing I didn’t really like was the Lvling system a lot of the time it felt like you have to sacrifice using cool abilities to go for stuff that is effective so feels like you are missing a lot of the game especially on new game + so you are pressured into playing certain builds that arent really your style alot of the time so I feel it only really takes away from the game.Id say if they would have fleshed out the rpg elements to the game and gave it more depth this game would be the best game of all time at least for me haha the amount of value you get from this game is amazing in this day in age so if you are on the fence about buying this game try it out you wont regret it.

I’ve never played the Witcher games before, but it was so easy to immediately immerse myself in the Witcher universe. The expansion packs were well worth it. Every quest is unique, and so many of the quests intersect with each other. There are quite a few larger side quests that directly impact the main story-line, and every decision you make has ripple effects that you can’t even begin to predict. If you like open world video games, I can’t recommend this one enough!

If you even slightly enjoy action/adventure or RPG’s, you will not be disappointed. I will admit, that to those not familiar with the source material, it may be SLIGHTLY less enjoyable. However, when I first got this game 5 years ago, it was my first foray into the Witcher World. The game stands on its own but is enhanced by playing the previous games and/or reading the books. The graphics are phenomenal with amazing attention to detail. The writing and voice acting are top notch. You are forced to make tough choices that do have an impact on the game. With many different endings, there is also great replay value. It can take some time getting used to the combat, menus and crafting but once you are comfortable, everything makes sense. I’ve seen some people say that quests and combat can become tedious but I don’t see how that couldn’t apply to every game. With swords, spells, bombs and crossbow, there is enough variation to keep it fresh. The only cons are the occasional crash (though this happens far less often with the digital download than the disc) and sometimes Roach (your horse) is difficult to control and likes to stop or leave the path on her own.Prior to The Witcher 3, Skyrim was my favorite game of all time. The Witcher has changed that. There’s no online play but I see that as a pro. Sometimes I like playing with other people in games but I hate being forced to.I could literally go on for hours but I’ll end it here. I love this game still after 5 years. If you’re a fa.

As long as we have permission to spend hours at home . . . this is a nice distraction. Gorgeous graphics. Not a good fit if you have zero manual dexterity, as some of the quests require reflexes. Way too many buttons/functions to keep track of . . . makes it a bit challenging for some–like me. But, whilst waiting for the Oblivion series to produce another Skyrim, this will do for the moment.
