Already owned the game, but purchased the Game of the Year edition on sale so I could enjoy it again and get the double achievements for it.I’ve been gaming since the late 80s and I can say this is my favourite game of all time (Unless they CD Project Red decide to make another Witcher game). I can’t see how any game can top this, the world, the characters, the story, the gameplay, the combat, the sense of humour, it was a pleasure to play and still is!Can’t recommend it enough, and if you enjoy it you’re probably going to end up purchasing the books … the start of an obsession!
I actually started playing this game free with Microsoft Game Pass and bought this GOTY edition since it was cheaper than paying for the DLC separately. However I found out the save files from the standard edition are not compatible with the GOTY edition but I love this game so much I’m keeping both versions, might as well support CD Project Red, one of the last great gaming companies left!5/5 or 10/10 however you want to score it, this game is PERFECT
I bought this game when it first came out. I know it was a rpg but I wanted to jump right into action. I got so frustrated and traded it. Finally when I knew the Netflix show was coming I said I’ve got to play it. Once I put the time in figured out the game and the pace it’s incredible. Great story great action. Happy I finally calmed down and put the time in. And of course then they added it to Gamepass so I paid for something I already got for free. But anyway great game.
Never been that keen on open world games but was convinced to give this a try last year by a friend. Really glad I did. One of the best games I’ve played. Great story, great characters. Action parts, puzzles to solve, all in all very immersive. I played it a long time after it’s release, but it still seemed ‘up to date’ with decent graphics etc. Very enjoyable and lasted for several weeks. No ‘online’ aspect, but that’s fine by me.

Fantastic game, great story and gameplay. By far, the best game I’ve played this console generation.Anyone I know who has played it, loved it too and not a bad thing to say about it.I played the game in full, including all the DLC and side missions which took me about 6 months.For the price the Game of the Year edition you cannot go wrong.Cannot recommend this game enough.
The Witcher 3 could perhaps be one of the best ‘digital’ experiences I have ever had. Right from the beginning there is a sense of loneliness as you try to do your thing whilst many obstacles seem to obscure your path. The world is open and you can do anything you please, although thanks to character progress and level, some areas of the game are near impossible with a very low level Geralt. This is the game Skyrim should have been!The framerate in the Xbox One X was very stable and can safely say it is one of the best looking games I have yet played. I am now going to replay the game on my PC (its that good!).

My husband loved this game, he bought it before he went on a 3 week layoff and played it quite a bit he defeated in that time. He said their was a lot more he could do in the game but since he had to go back to work he just did the basic missions to defeat it and play the DLC. Awesome game play. It was fun to watch him play as well.

There are some many fun things about this game. My wife coming form assassin’s creed didn’t like the actual button functions and that you can’t just pick up everything around you automatically and a few other things mini map too small was a bummer for her. She does love the story and that it is over all similar style of game. As for me I’m on new game plus-(second go around) I like it enough to play the entire game twice. Great game!! time consuming.

Great game. So so big, you can easily get lost in the game and lose track of time. My advice play small doses or you’ll lose your social life.
