Grandson loves it!
For the shipping speed nd was amazed on how fast it got here but as far as game wise was not very impressed. Game felt boring nd repeating itself too much game was not worth 40 bucks

I like how you were able to swing around Manhattan in free play and fight crooks and villains. But it gets a little boring after you beat everything and the eXtreme challenges are almost impossible.
sure its a movie title,sure the story is short, but its so much fun swinging around new york that you forgot about all that stuff if you have some cash i totally recomend checking this game out
As a fan of Spiderman I bought this with some worries as super hero games can be a bit hit or miss (has there ever been a good Superman game?) and the Spiderman ones have been in that category with some games being great and others being pretty dire. This one luckily falls into the good category while having a few downsides which let it down but don’t ruin the experience.Pro’sThe open world nature of Spiderman means you can go pretty much anywhere and with little to no pop in from buildings and textures it handles the vertical perspectives well.It is easy to get a hang of moving Spidey around but takes some practice to use his more advanced abilities to get where you want to go quickly.The comic book scraps are a great addition, collecting all the scraps opens the comic for you to read in the front end including the first Spiderman appearance. Better than a lot of collection items in games which don’t really contribute to anything other than an achievement.Con’sThe cut scene close ups of characters leave a bit to be desired and aren’t up there with the current releases focusing on realism. The models look dated and clunky but get the job done of telling their story.The controls can be one of the more frustrating things about the game, trying to pinpoint your landing and overshooting it only to web sling back past where you want to land.It is a little bit repetitive, go complete an objective, go back to your apartment, go complete next objective, go back to your apartment etc..
The kids loved playing the Amazing Spider-Man game on Xbox. The only issue is at the very end after you beat the final level it hangs up preventing you from walking around the city. There is a known bug that was never fixed. It doesn’t happen to everyone so I can’t say if it will happen to you.
I don’t remember Why I bought this game, but I’m glade I did! I never liked any of the other Spidey games, but this one is completely different and was awesome! The gameplay is much like the open world of the Batman Arkham installments. This game over all is pretty darn fun! I just wish It was longer.

It’s a fun game but a word of warning to any newcomers like me, You can unlock the extra suits without waiting but do not wear one when you beat the game the last chapter will not stop loading and you’ll have to start over like I did. Other than that it’s a solid game.
