There is so much variety in the game, hence my title. You can fly, shoot, punch randoms, steal cars, boats, swim, get attacked by a mountain lion etc. But it doesn’t quite engage me as much as I’d hoped. It could be that I’ve only ever played one GTA game before, San Andreas, so I’m not as in love with the series.Or it might be that I played through Batman Arkham Origins immediately before this. Well I actually interrupted playing through GTA V so I could play batman. So maybe I’m not enjoying it as much because you don’t get to be batman…
Delivery was earlier than expected, good quality the disc came wrap.
Its proper good storyline/single-player is very in depth and entertaining. The map is the best part of Grand Theft Auto 5 with small towns , shops and air strips placed on the map. There are many more guns in comparison to older GTA’s e.g. Grand theft Auto 3 and they feel different and have good uses. Random encounters are good as well as seen in Red Dead Redemption where someone may require your help , its then up to you to investigate.Only reason I don’t give it 5 stars cos of retrolio UK delivery issue with " one day free delivery "
Don’t really need to say much more than what others have said, great game as we all knew it would be. The sheer amount of content is amazing, so many things to see and do in Los Santos. The multiplayer GTA online is a hoot, when it works that is and when playing with friends.Edit: after some reflection I have decided to knock a star off the game, since completing the main game I have had zero desire to go back and multiplayer has become barren.
I Got this game from retrolio every so often it will restart but the game is a really good game.
The game is OK, I like it, although there are one or two little bits that annoy me at times. But I had to write this review to explain about the service. The shop in question never sent the game, so I had to purchase it outside of retrolio. That said, having played the game, my initial sentence stands. At times, when you’re being shot at, it’s as if the AI accuracy is 110%, they could shoot you blindfolded, six feet under, going at 600mph, no matter what they’re doing, they’ll get you. When you’re like me, wanting to be perfect and not get shot, it’s annoying but I’ll live. Another grump is when you’re driving or riding at speed, and it seems almost as if the game is set for you to hit a post or structure, no matter how well you brake or manoeuvre yourself. I’ll live. Other than that, the game is fine, and worth the production following the slightly disappointing part IV. GTA V is what GTA IV should have been, following on from arguably the best game ever in San Andreas (definitely the best GTA one).
Really good game. Just a big shame that Rockstar still milk it to this day instead of actually providing some content for people or even better – a new game!
I finished the story mode last night and can say that it is way better than GTAIV. While that had a bunch of generic Mafia families, this has the FBI, mercenaries, Triads and power hungry millionaires. This is more your 80s Arnie/Bruce buddy movie than the more gritty art-house of IV.ProBig map with lots to do.Nice variety of missions.Interesting characters.Lots of re-playability.ConsHeists are a bit of a let down. Not a patch on taking out a camp in Far Cry 3.Auto aim makes it a bit too easy. Left trigger to select next target and right trigger to fire. Repeat till all the red dots disappear. Seriously, turn it off.Out of about 40+ hours it crashed twice and stuttered about 3 times.I completed the story at around 70% overall, so there is a good third of the game to explore. On-line looks fun as well from what I have played of it.
GTA needs no introduction.Grand Theft Auto 5 is leaps and bounds ahead off its predecessor (Want to go bowling?).The graphics truly stretch what the 360 is capable of and are stunning to say the least. The drawn distance is impressive with very little pop up. The game also runs very smooth with minimal slow down or screen tearing.The single player is fantastic and will keep you enthralled for hours, going from insane mission to insane mission all the way to the climactic ending. The driving physics have been vastly improved over GTA 4s driving around in a boat mechanics, vehicle models look great and can take more punishment than past games.The shooting/aiming system has also been tightened and makes for a much more enjoyable experience.Now to the reason the game lost a star…….GTA Online.Whilst the online component will give you a fair few hours of enjoyment starting out, it soon becomes in my opinion a repetitive grind to rank up and get money for in game purchases. The online is setup to try and sell as many shark cards as possible (for real money) to allow you to bypass this grind and as I don’t support this kind of business practice can’t say I approve.The glorified Heists they added are just well disguised fetch missions that require a full lobby of players to begin and you then have to hope nobody quits (if playing with randoms) as the mission will fail and end.Then the fact they ended online support for the 360 version, the console it was made for and launched on,.
Bought this game mainly to try out the updated online feauture, so naturally I was dissapointed by the unreliable servers.Now that the servers are starting to clear up though, I find it hard to fault :DThe campaign is excellent so far and online has been improved significantly. Online play is now much more about doing jobs withyour friends and missions as opposed to mindlessly killing.Oh yes, and I haven’t found any hackers yet (RELIEF!)overall, a good buy.

It’s not like this game needs another review but I thought I’d have my say. Overall I really loved this game but if I’m honest I still preferred San Andreas. I really think they need to make something more similar for the next one. Well that’s what I’d like to see anyway.

Such a fantastic and thrilling game. I bought it on release and I was blown away on the 360, there’s so much to do, get a couple mates on Xbox live to play with you and it’s just so good I played for hours on end. Robbing stores with a buddy is amazing with a mask and trying to escape the cops. There’s a big jump in Police AI skill level’s since previous GTA’s, it’s actually a lot more fun, interesting and difficult.Recently, there’s been an online update to include Store/Bank Heists (robberies) which is simply freaking amazing, I was waiting on it for some time and boy was it worth the wait.Solid recommendation from me, even when playing alone this game is amazing, single player is good but once campaign is completed it’s slightly lackluster, but multiplayer simply never gets old.

GTA3 was good, Vice city was great, San Andreas was outstanding and GTA5 sits up there with the best. I’m not much of a gamer and this is the first game I’ve purchased for months, but it was totally worth it. I didn’t find out till quite close to release but if you have the 4GB XBOX you will need a HDD or a fast read and write speed USB flash drive to install and store the maps on. 5/5 great game.

So GTA V is finally here.I wanted to big them game up from the first step but sadly I wish to be honest to help all other consumers out.The game is very good, there is plenty to do, plenty to drive, ride, fly or whatever.The graphics are good but not ground breaking.The playability aspect of the game is very good and has scope to keep you pinned to the sofa for hours.So now I here you ask so whats the problem………The problem is that Rockstar took a little over five years ago to product this game so it needed to be amazing they pushed release date back and back so many times so the game needed to be absolutely amazing and if I am honest it just doesn’t cut the mustard its very good but after waiting 5 years the end result is just not what i hoped for.I would definetly advise you to buy it though.

I remember when rockstar officially said that GTA V was in development over 2 years ago, then came the first trailer in november 2011. Now its finally here and so far as i can tell its been worth the wait, by far the best of the series, all other GTA games have been missing things but this one brings together the best things about others in the series, adds more and more, then adds a bit more! Just to make the open world just that bit better. Fantastic game, easily the best game ive ever played.
