After years of buying and being very disappointed by almost all DC games, they have finally come up with one that plays well, challenging and has a good story line. The art is outstanding and does not take the player away from doing just about everything for themselves. Too many games, take over far too many times and do the best scene for the player. One of the best items about the game, there is no time limits, allowing gamer to move about and explore area. Could be more hidden items laid about, but overall, great game.

This game has everything to please a Batman fan. The fighting is very good, lost of gadgets to play with, and some detective work to do.Graphics, Sound, Control and all technical aspects are fantastic.Where the game stumbles is the last 1/3 of the game. There are some tedious portions and dissapointing boss fights.Still, highly recommended.8.5/10

Batman Arkhum Asylumn is one of my long awaited games. I don’t usually buy game when it first came out – I would either buy used games or wait for more than a year before I buy the new release. After finishing the whole game, I can say the wait is very much worth it.The game is very well executed. The story line is very interesting. Most important of all, I had fun playing it. While there are a lot of button-smashing during the fights, the gameplay is not difficult. The story is quite linear, but there are side-goals that you can perform. Most notably trying to solve Rildler’s ridlers. Instead of trying to solve all of them, I was so intuned with the game that I want to get to the end.The boss-fights are few and they are very easy to defeat. I think it was more difficult beating the hordes of bad guys. Sometimes you get up to 10 bad guys trying to pummel you.One of the best things about Batman in this game is that you could feel he is very human, not a hero with superpowers. In his quest to capture Joker, Batman would be hurt along the way. This is shown how Batman gets cuts and bruises on his face. His Batman suit and cape get scratched and torn.This game is well made and definitely recommended to anyone who wants to play something different. From what I heard the sequel is much better. I guess I will wait for another year before I can play it.

Very. This game is spectacular. It’s almost a hidden gem. I would rate this up there as one of the best releases of the decade. You get all the bat-things with your bat-fighter stuff and you go bat-crazy on some homicidal convicts. A must buy for any fantasy/super hero/fight-platformer fan.
