Bought this game for my 16 year old and he loves it! Three levels to test his skills with clues along the way.

I remember i saw the trailer and thought. WOW amazing graphics and gameplay! Finally i decided to buy this game after getting an Xbox 360. The gameplay is amazing. The Graphics are even better Especially on an HD TV! If you like Batman, and Joker and you have a 360, I HIGHLY recommend this title!

I loved my purchase of Arkham Asylum and It met all my expectations. I ordered it used, but the whole game worked fine.

There are games that you play and you’re done with. There are games that you play and when you finish, you play again because it was fun. Then there are games that you play and play and play until you 100% it because it was that much fun. This is one of those games.I loved playing this game. It mixed in just enough challenge yet not over the top that made it something that I wanted to complete because it was completable in a non boring way. The game has a good mix of action/combat along with puzzle/riddle solving and the story is pretty good too. Overall, the best part of the game was the combat fighting system. When I first played the game, I got the game to about 50% done on normal difficulty before going to the challenges. The first challenge is to fight bad guys… I thought it would be cake because hey I’ve already beat 50% of the game and it was no problem. I failed to achieve the lowest medal score (bronze, silver then, gold). I was like WTF, what am I doing wrong… then I slowly learned what it meant to fight in Batman. It’s all about the combos!Fighting a group of mobs and doing a 50 hit non stop combo, is just too much fun.The game also has very good elements of stealth involved which is different then most games. You can’t just run in and fight 20 guys with guns. You are human after all. So there are tons of situations where you stealthily take out 1 person at a time which is very challenging and rewarding.Overall the game is just a great balance of fighting, stea.

We have been burned by what…30 years now of horribly bad superhero video games. For me it all started with the Superman game on the Atari…ugh. Then it kept going, terrible game after terrible game. Then finally Rocksteady came along and did what we all thought impossible. Made not only a great superhero game, but a FANTASTIC overall game. This game combines wonderful gameplay mechanics of sneaking, with street fights, and detective work/riddle solving. One of the best games of 2009. If you like superheros you’ll LOVE this game. If you like videogames you’ll LOVE this game. If you’ve played your share of superhero video games…fret not my child…this will heal all those old wounds.

The last few years have actually seen comic books stretch into the video game world as more then just movie tie ins for the first time in a long time. Ultimate Allaince, Spider-Man Web of Shadows, and now Arkham Asylum. Even though I am personally biased towards the spider,I have to admit this game has beaten his best. While some games have tried to go linear and others sandbox, this game mixes the two fairly well with a large world to explore and almost no load times.Yep, you may slow down for a second or two when opening a door to a new area, but thats it. No bars. Some of the cutscenes are used to hide the fact that they are loading, but even those can be skipped after the initial few seconds. Areas will be seperated into west east and north, and within those areas are several buildings each, giving you plenty to look at.Now that you have this big open place to wonder through, who are you going to see?Everyone of the classic villians are either seen heard or mentioned. THAT is one of the problems with most major character games. Not that you don’t often get a decent or amazing roster, but that the roster makes no sense. They seem thrown at you randomly, cutting into your main story and then disappearing. With Asylum, you are treated to a wide assortment of classic villians with reason-do I have to spell it out, ASYLUM. If setting isn’t enough, the plot behind the game is well scripted and manages to bring out all of the villians in an order that flows with the plot, not cutti.

Not as good as Arkham City, but still a good game. Feels like a button masher at first, but gradually becomes more complex. Good to just play or to dive in.

    Awesome game

  9. Kindle Customer

This by far is the best batman game ever made. If you are a fan of the franchise or an action adventuregamer, this is a must have. The gameplay is fluid and the story is well written. If you are considering purchasing this title you will not be disappointed.

I bought this game for my son for Christmas. However, I’ve been playing it non stop. I’m not really a gamer, but I am a Batman fan, and this game has it all. Challenging, its intelligent and it has amazing graphics. I highly recomend it.
