I am really enjoying this “game” (workout) i love that you can add weights or a ball or not anything. I find it challenging and am looking forward to working out more and more with it. The only thing i don’t like is that it is very time consuming sometimes. I haven’t yet figured out how to change the weigh in to pounds or if i can even do that. but i really enjoy the workout!

    Thanks much

I bought this for my fiance and she used it a few time. its a decent workout game. It could be better but overall its not bad.

The only real improvement this game needs is use of the manual control or keyboard for things like entering current weight and calorie intake and other exercise. The hand sensor is just too slow to manage data input.BUT as a weight management/fitness program this is a great game. The routines are challenging, the Kinect is by and large fine at picking up body movement (and, duh, even when it misses I get a lot out of seeing my form versus the trainer’s and from doing the exercises) and there is tons of useful data in the game, from recipes to fitness tips to motivational quotes.I’d add that compared to Your Fitness this game is better coming and going. The routines in Your Fitness are downright monotonous, and the games are less than fun. And there is far less information and motivation in Your Fitness.I enjoy a lot of Kinect games, including Dance Central for some fun with cardio, but this is my go to workout game.

I love, love, love this game. The workouts are different every day. Never the excact same thing again. You can choose level of difficulty, the trainer (Bob or Jillian), what body parts you want to work on and if you want to use any equipment. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to work out in the privacy of their own home and get a really good workout. You can also choose the length of the workout. I am so happy I invested in this program.

Good product but would recommend you optimize the placement of your Kinect before using. I didn’t and had to start over because it didn’t pick up all movements.

  7. RaVela

    – Good workout at home- Same things said over and over…’I’m pretty sure that I’m a Yoga Master’- Fun for guys and girls…and challenging for both as well

    great

I’ve tried the original Zumba for Kinect, Kinect Your Shape Fitness Evolved and this one (The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout).Out of all, this is the one I like to use the most. Why?Easiest to navigate? Best UI? Most fun routines? NO – the answer to all of those would be Your Shape Fitness Evolved.Do I like the comments by the trainers? I find Bob OK, I find Jillian grating and obnoxious (“Don’t you want to be skinny?” – Nope, I want to be healthy). There is too much emphasis on the skinny – if that is your goal, go for it. I can overlook the comments but I wouldn’t recommend it for teens who are already bombarded by enough unrealistic body image messages. The UI is clunky, hard to navigate, and often the tracking is mediocre. So – what makes this “game” appealing? The routines are by far the best of the 3. You can customize your goals (lose weight? Tone?). You can also customize the time (how long and how often?), intensity (easy to intense), etc. Each routine starts with a warm up, building up intensity, and ends with stretching and cooling down (Your Shape Fitness – take note). It gives you a reasonable amount of time to drink water between sets (unlike Zumba). It has a wide variety of exercises, and the routines are already assembled so you get a good balance to build up strength and tone on your body as a whole. Is there room for improvement? Obviously yes, but if you can overlook its flaws, you’ll get a nice, healthy workout.
