This game is better than any workout video I have ever used. It has cardio boxing, yoga, cardio, and even has recipes. Upgrades for pilates is available on XBOX live. IT will do a body scan and will provide recommend workouts based on your goals. If you have resistance bands or workout balls you can enter this in the game settings and use those during the workout. It will also observe your form show you were to adjust your body position.

The Best Kinect Games To Get Into Shape:The Xbox Kinect has games that everyone can enjoy. From “Kinect Adventures”, “Sonic Free Riders”, “Dance Central”, “Kinect Sports” and “The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout”. Each game proves to be enjoyable and quite frankly, a great workout. I am ashamed to say that after competing on the champion setting in track and field, I was sore for days.I have now owned the Xbox Kinect for almost six months and I recently decided to take it up a notch. I bought the “Biggest Loser-Ultimate Workout”. I find it difficult to call this a game, but it is an useful tool for anyone regardless of their fitness goals. The “program” analyzes your body and determines your strengths and weaknesses. You get customized diets and a xbox kinect reviews workoutcalorie counter to make sure you stay on track. My fitness goals are to tone and add muscle to my body. However, it is truly frightening to watch how slowly the calorie counter increases. As I wipe the sweat off my face after an intense 30 minute workout, I find out I only burned 180 calories. It makes me think twice when I look at a 12-ounce bottle of soda that has 150 calories. It takes a half hour of intense exercise to burn off a can of pop! Just in case you are curious, the Biggest Loser program has many different levels of difficulty, so you can go at the pace you choose. It even has yoga and tips to meditate! It is almost like there is a fitness instructor in your living room! There are many other fi.

I have been very amazed with the results of this workout regimine! I’m doing 20-40 min 3 times a week on moderate and am averaging 2lbs lost a week (this is my second week). Sometimes, like with the yoga, I do another workout after because even though it can be intense, I want to make sure I’m really making progress. I’m impressed with the way it takes your measurements with the kinect to “weigh you in” and it doesn’t require that you buy any equiptment. The selection of recipes is impressive, though I haven’t made any yet. The game controls when you start out are very touchy and is annoying, but you only need to do age and height and bday when you first start out so I wouldn’t cite that as a reason to not buy the game. So glad this game exists and is helping inspire me to get healthy and into better shape. My mother is also doing the program (on light difficulty) and says her flexibility is greatly improved. I reccomend starting on light for anyone who is not used to vigarous activity. You can always change diffficulty later.

I am fat, and for the most part a little lazy, but I will tell you this is the FIRST work out I have found that is not only working but is actually motivating me. I have a weekly way in and I have to check in every day just to see what I am supposed to do. I absolutely love this game and am so grateful that I am on the way to correcting my first sentence. Soon I will be saying I USED to be fat and a little lazy. This is just like having a trainer in my own home. HIGHLY recommend it and for those of you that are thinking you CAN’T do it, trust me you can! I have a bad knee, as well as degenerative disc disease (my back is screwed up) and I haven’t found anything I can’t do on this yet, I might not do it beautifully but I am doing it. Good luck to those of you who are wanting a change because buying this is a step in the right direction especially for the price. :)
