I picked this game up for $8, and for that I’d say it was WELL WORTH IT…First off, this IS the future. The game is amazing in how it handles cover. I actually find myself using training techiques like “slicing a room”.The tactics are very cool, having to duck behind or below cover. The downside of the game is the aiming with hand is a little imperfect. It is a RAILS game and not a free flow game, but that’s okay.What this game REALLY needs is light gun compatibility. If I could aim to shoot this game would so rock.

Although it is not perfect, this video game was rather entertaining and definitely interactive. The manner of shooting is different than portrayed in the video game trailer; however, it was interesting and fun. Worth the purchase price.
Yeah, KinectAddict always had me interested in this game. You probably know who he is. He’s a pretty fit guy who plays all sorts of Kinect games. He turned me on to Motion Sports Adrenaline as well, which I’d say is also one of the best and most underrated Kinect games next to this. This game really is a blast to play, especially for fans of military shooters, or FPS in general. Are there bugs? Yes. That’s why there is no way that this game can receive 5 stars. I bought this title from XBL and haven’t looked back. The ratings on XBL are in the 2 star range. Why? This game is HORRIBLE with a controller. I’d give it one star. As a Kinect game, it ROCKS! The game is cover based, which means you take cover at the beginning of every firefight. You can lean to the side or duck. To reload you simply lower the arm you are firing with off the screen. You can also slap your elbow and hold it, but I found that the game didn’t always pick this up. To throw a grenade, you use your other arm above your head and aim with your arm that usually holds your firearm. I’ve ran into bugs 4 times in the 5 or so hours I played, and all were related to not being able to fire the weapon. The game is a little older now so I doubt the issues will be resolved. Graphically, the characters are fun and cartoony, and remind me of Homefront which also isn’t top tier graphics. At the current price, it’s an easy purchase. More than anything else, it’s fun, and the controls work very well. A definite hidden ge.

It’s an OK shooter. I got it for the interaction with the kinect. Moving around and being a bit more active than just sitting there playing the regular shooter games.

The game plays pretty well has a bit of a tendency to challenge your mind which is good you can not just wiz right through it which is another good thing makes it worth paying the money and for sure would buy again

Blackwater is a ton of fun! No only do you get to aim and shoot, but you can duck behind objects to avoid fire. The controller follows your movement to adjust your vision as you move! So, you can peer around objects just as if you were there. It gives the game a totally real feeling.
