This is the best Nascar game to date. Hope they come out with a new one soon. Play this game almost daily.
this game is not for the simulation racer fan. this is just a flat out fun arcade style racer that specializes in chaos! if you love hectic racing while blasting other cars out of the way and at the same time avoiding getting taken out then this is the game for you. solid frame rate, great animations and tons of modes and options.
Multiplayer is just amazing takes skills to get first place and just shooting at people is fun but still need to keep up to finish: ) story line is alright nothing much to talk about it but the multiplayer is great especially 20 people in one race = Destruction
Most fun modern racing game out there. Mario kart meets Foreza, just wish there were more people on xbox live.
Great game at a great price
Wanted a game that limits violence and blood/gore. Well, this game is fun, fast paced, and limited on the violence (if you dont consider car crashes violent). No blood/gore. A lot of fun to play multiplayer. Gets yer heart going!!!
I ordered this game (per request) for my 11 year old son. Not surprising that he and his 14 year old brother loved it. What was surprising is that my 13 year old daughter loved it as well. Fast paced enough for a teen boy, entertaining enough for a teen girl, and just what my tween wanted. Just goes to show that it doesn’t have to be the latest and greatest for a kid to enjoy it.

I don’t game very much, but sometimes find something I like. Blur is one of those games. I have been playing this game since May 2010. Unfortunately they no longer offer a demo so you can’t try first. The best thing is to look at YouTube videos of actual gameplay. It never gets old. I just can’t see how Split/Second and Need For Speed could possibly beat Blur for fun-factor (Need For Speed) and graphics (Split/Second).If you are a pure racer and don’t want a game with weapons then you can play online with no weapons and, if you are a better driver, you will win. The game is not so ‘arcadey’ that you lose the need for skill to win. However, tactics really come in to play when you can pick up ‘power-ups’ from the track and use them for defense or attack.I can see myself playing this game for another 6 months without looking around for something else.Well done Activision.

Really simple game play and maps. Not nearly as fun as something like Mario Kart back in the day, but it’s passably enjoyable. If they had improved the multiplayer fighting experience (primarily maps) I think it would have been a much better game.

Cool game. Graphics are good. My favorite paint sceame is the Taco Bell David Gilliland. Awesome game! Best game since NASCAR 2005. EA has gone back to their roots. Hopefully NASCAR 2012 Inside Line will be as good as this. BUY THIS GAME!!!!

I love this game. It’s like Mario Kart but without characters, and with realistic tracks/cars/etc. It’s like other racing games, where you, well, race to the finish line, except you collect items to try to knock out your opponents. For example, you can drop mines on the track, and if someone hits one BOOM they get hurt pretty bad, and it sets them back (because everyone passes them). Lightening sets lightening fields on the track, which slows cars down if they run into them. And of course, there are healing and protection items you can collect to, to help yourself stay in the game. You can also play with up to four players (locally) and more online. It’s a real fun game overall.

Dont mind any reviews for 2011. There has been patches and most problems have been fixed. If you spin outside the apron it will not throw a caution. The online is a little sucky but the game is fun. There is a season update you can buy for cheap that updates the tracks and drivers. If you can wait til NTG 2012, wait but If you want to play NASCAR games pick this up.

It’s kind of the run of the mill racing game, but the lack of not being able to customize car parts feels kind of empty.The only thing that goes for it is the power ups that add a bit of excitement to the game.Think of it like Mario Kart- it has power ups that add some challenge to racing, but no customizing kart parts.At least there is some replay value in it – getting all the cars, but it is honestly too easy. Just grind the same race track and get in 1st place and do the Fan Gates to get more fans to increase your Fan Status to unlock more cars.
