It’s a very quick game with decent strategy and lots of potential for alternate ways to play. Amusing theme (especially to kids) and good concept that is well pulled off.The bad parts of this game – seems to take longer to set up than to actually play it. Can be a little annoying having to remove pieces during play due to design of the overall game. The game "board" consists of piles of little cardboard hex tiles. They are they same high quality of some of the big box RPG games like Descent, but I think for a game this small they could have made them out of wood or plastic.I would give this a solid 5 star when the game tiles are upgraded a bit.But overall, it’s an excellent game for those about 6 and up. For an added challenge, start with the tiles FACE DOWN. This way there is a bit of luck involved as you are simply trying to trap the enemy and take as many tiles as possible instead of going straight for the three fish tiles.Still, it’s totally worth the price.

This is a nice fun boardgame that plays pretty quick, I find a game is around 15 minutes. I feel its a nice way to start off or end a game night with family/friends. Like an appetizer or side dish to your entree. Those I have played with find it light but entertaining. I found myself yelling “HEY! THAT’S MY FISH!” and laughing merrily. It has very simple rules but there is some level of depth and strategy involved if you want to win; depending on who you play with. Quality of the components is pretty good, and the game is so small, you could EASILY bring it with you on the go! I think I’ll bring it camping next time :) It has become a welcome addition into my boardgame collection.

ES un juego divertido para jugar en familia, es fácil de aprender y de explicar.

  4. ZVB

it is fun for kids. gets old for real gamers

  5. yeala

I enjoyed play it with 50 years old and 5 years old, simple mechanic, but can involved quite a lot of strategy

  6. Z

I love chess, but it’s hard to convince friends to play chess with you when you win more times than not. This is a fun strategy game that is easy to convince friends to play lol. Very similar to "game of retrolios." I am tempted to purchase an extra set so that I can play with a larger playing field

  7. Consu

  8. Carrie

Great game for kids. Our 4 year old can play, doesn’t quite get it, but enjoys nonetheless.

  9. ladybug

This is a fun game, however it has a lot of instructions that are a little complicated. It requires an adult to help the kids get started.

  10. moshedanger

Really easy to teach and learn. Pieces are a bit on the small side so tiny hands might mess up arranging them. An adult needs to put the pieces down first. The pieces all need to be face up so that the fish are showing. After that, each player takes a turn moving, then removing a fish. It’s pretty simple, but kids get very excited. You need to prepare them for getting stuck and not moving the rest of the game, but most kids don’t seem to have a problem with this as they have multiple playing pieces. Again, fun and easy.
