This game comes with colored penguins in various poses in several colors, and hex tiles.Players arrange the hexes in lines of 8 alternated with lines of 7. The hex tiles have 1-3 fish on them.Players then start with a number of penguins influenced by player total, and take turns (starting with the youngest) placing a penguin on a tile until none remain. The starting player moves any penguin in a line and takes the starting tile and adds it to a personal pile.As play progresses, options to move diminish until penguins are stuck. Players who can’t move penguins lose their turns and once all players can no longer move, everyone counts their fish total. Highest wins! This game is simple for kids but offers lots of strategy for teens and adults. After playing, my game group started again!Highly recommended game.

great fun

Great game. Exactly as advertised.
Me –
Cute and fun game. The only downside is that it takes twice as long to set up the board as it does to play the game.

Super fun game. The mechanics are very simple, but there is more strategy involved than you would think.Plays very well as a two player game. Fun for kids and adults.

Very fun! Always on the lookout for a fun and quick game. 9-year old loves strategy games, as do I, but sometimes you need something quick and fun with a little tease for the noggin. This fits the bill perfectly.

We bought this game for family time and its a very fun game recommended for children 6 yrs old and up it has a lot of small pieces and pretty easy to play, excellent for a gift!

4 out of 5 – I wish they gave a couple of spare pieces. The pieces are tiny and not that hard to loose.

So this was more challenging than I thought since you basically try to find territories you can grab fish. It took a while for my niece to catch on but eventually she did (she’s 8). We enjoy playing it though and it doesn’t take a long time.
IrishFire –
This was a huge hit among my graduate student gaming group despite being simple enough for little tykes. Much fun was had by all.
