Great gameplay but a goofier feel than the original.

If you like Final Fantasy and have a 3ds buy both this and the first one. Seriously some of the best Rpgs put together since the golden age of the original Playstation.

Todo bien

We received this product quickly and it was packaged well with no damage to it or the container.I’m also very pleased with retrolio Prime’s pre-order system. I was iffy at first because I’ve heard a few horror stories from others, but most of those seemed to involve bundle packs, whereas I was just ordering the one game for my husband for his birthday. He received it on time, the day it was released and loves it. The below comments are his review of the game itself.Jace’s Game Review: The game itself is amazingly fun. The battle system that they went with and the classes are very fun to play. The story is slow at points, but it has some great twists. I would definitely rate this game an 8.5 out of 10. It is a lot of fun with a lot of replay-ability. My one negative is that you can’t get all classes in the game and all the extra stuff within one play through. In order to get certain classes you have to play through multiple times. Another negative is that in certain points in the game, it can be confusing about where you should go next. It’s pretty nonlinear because you can do different things and branch off. You can essentially get lost for an hour doing stuff you didn’t have to do, but still want to. It’s personal preference, really.Disclaimer: This should be an retrolio verified purchase. I paid full listing price and did NOT receive this product free or deeply discounted. However, my review is still honest and unbiased. If you found this review to be helpful, I’d appreciate if.

This is a good game much like it’s predecessor, but because it is so much like the first game, it loses some of its originality. The looping does not take place in this game, but I still find the story from the first game to have more depth. All in all, it is more of the same, but if you loved the first game, you should buy this game.

it’s not as good as bravely default, to which I absolutely love, but I do not regret buying this game.it’s still fun like default, has some different classes to play with, and has the same combat and adds some things.the story has some more comidic elements to it, but still has its darker moments and continues on from the ending of default. interactions with familiar characters are coupled with moral questions (the thief asterisk was personally the hardest for me to get). Ba’als are easier to encounter and you are given a method to take them down easier and you can experience their unique backgrounds.my main gripe comes with the special themes for the heros. They just sound very similar to me and it’s hard to judge when they’re about to end where as in default everyone had their own destinct unique theme. Shoot they all even had their own instrament! Also Yew’s obsession with gravy. I mean I like it too, but c’mon man, you can dial it back a little.

I love this game so far. I played through Bravely Default and was hooked with the battle style they use. It allows for a focused tactics battle while also allowing players to grind while watching your favorite anime.Pros for me,-reminiscent of old school Final Fantasy games while still having a new twist in combat style-beautiful artwork and music-storyline that can hook you from the beginningCon-the mini game is addictive and I find myself playing that almost as much as the storyline itself. If you enjoyed the first game, I highly recommend the sequel.

Probably my new favorite game. They took everything that was great about the first one and just embellished and added to it. I love the story, the characters, the combat. I love being able to control the frequency of encounters and having auto presets. If you like JRPGs but haven’t played the Bravely Default series, what’s wrong with you?
