This game is really good while it lasts. The story is notably short but with many spectacular set-pieces. The multiplayer is boring with only cooperative play. I had little interest in replaying the story for more points. I didn’t play it long, but while I was, it was great.
Nothing like a good butt Kicking, and BulletStorm Delivers.Though I still have not personally completed the campaign from this game, I’ve played a lot of the multiplayer with my friends and Thoroughly enjoy the game. I’ve watched someone play through the campaign and I can’t wait to finish it myself (No Spoilers Here) and would gladly purchase BulletStorm 2 if they decide to make it.Overall, it does have a little of the “Clunky” feel similar to Gears of War, but the style of game play makes up for it with unique combat style, this is not an ordinary shooter by far. Also, the upgradable weapons system will keep you from just walking in and shooting people straight up, its hard to explain and I won’t spoil it, but you’ll be combo-ing your kills in no time.If you are looking for a unique shooter type story experience this game is for you, and you’ll love the commentary of the characters as you go through the campaign for sure.As far as difficulty, it works in a slowly getting harder way, as you improve and get deep into the game you encounter new and harder enemies which keeps you locked in and waiting for the next challenge.All in all a good game, with decent replay value, definitely will stay on my game shelf for quite some time.

Its a fun game overall, I like the banter between the characters. They usually have something funny to say while blasting part the many many mobs that came to kill you. I didn’t really run into to many bugs and stuff. Which was definitely nice.
Bought this as a birthday present. A lot of cursing so wouldn’t recommend for younger children..but a fun game overall
This game is really fun.The story is great,the characters are great,the guns are really cool and powerful.The enemies are really smart and play good.The gore in the game is cool,interactive environment as well is cool.overall a great game 8.5/10 and a must buy.
Bulletstorm is a good shooter with a less than intricate story but fun nonetheless. There are plenty of fun little tricks and unique kills to keep you interested throughout the game. Don’t play with the kids around, though, as the language is laced with a litany of PG13 to R rated gems. There’s a multiplayer component as well, for those who are so inclined.
Fast-paced, funny and cool. Kind of quirky, but if you’re into that sort of thing you’ll probably love this game.
Looking at its trailers and hearing its reviews, I had little to no expectations for this game. But then I liked Gears of War and Shadow Complex games and since this was also being released by Epic, I thought why not give it a shot. After finishing the campaign mode and trying Ecos and Anarchy modes, I have to say I am quite surprised.***********PROS.***************-AWESOME COMBAT SYSTEM: This is the best aspect of this game. You can slide, leash to pull enemies, kick them and use variety of weapons with primary and second fire and pull a huge variety of combination off of them. At first you may feel like it may get redundant, but thanks to variety in levels, there are a huge variety of things you can do. Thanks to that you won’t get bored till the end of the campaign.-VARIETY IN LEVELS: Other than awesome combat, there is plenty of variety in levels. Throughout the campaign you experience a variety of environments including the space, woody greenery filled areas, abandoned factories, building high in the sky that is about to fall apart and list goes on.-SURPRISES: There parts during the campaign where you will be surprised by certain events and the gameplay that will follow it. I really don’t want to spoil it for you, but trust me you will like it.-GREAT GRAPHICS AND DECENT ART WORK: The first time I saw the trailer for this game, it really looked unpolished to me. But now that I have finished the campaign, I can say that since then they seem to have refined it quite a bit..

Loads of fun. Moves fast and full of action. The dialogue is really funny and I enjoy the characters. Has a few technical problems, though, so I give it a four out of five. For almost every hour I play I find some unfortunate glitch – mostly getting “stuck” on things in the environment so I can’t move forward. Hopefully there will be a patch soon. Either way, this is so different than any other first person shooters that have come along in in the past few years. A refreshing play worth more than just a cursory glance. You’ll particularly like this if you like Gears of War and Unreal Tournament.

I play and buy most of the new games that come out. Some of which hold my attention for 5 minutes (Two Worlds) and others that hold my attention for days and days (Darksiders).This game was one that started out with a bang and hasn’t gotten old. The unique graphics (nice Unreal Engine) to the story to the VERY unique Skillpoint system. I’m not much into first person shooters, but this game is more like Tony Hawk only using guns. You rack up points depending on the tricks you do shooting enemies, kicking them or lashing them out of cover. The X360 version felt superior to the PS3 one to me and I’m a big PS3 fan, so, there.

So, in bulletstorm you shoot weird monsters with big guns. You shoot progressively bigger monsters with progressively bigger guns until you find the bad guy and shoot him for while (sorry, spoiler alert, you fight a bad guy at the end)… Okay, so Bulletstorm doesn’t bring much new to the table, but I promise you, you’re not gonna care. It takes the tried and true formula for a first person shooter, moves it forward at a double time and lets you try your best to keep up. It’s an old school roller coaster of a game, linear and almost totally on rails, that is well worth the price of admission.It doesn’t start off so hot, though… actually, it’s starts off BRILLIANTLY, with your character drunk off his ass and interrogating a bound and bloody bounty hunter who was hunting a price on your head. But it doesn’t take long to devolve from there, as we get into some of the worst dialogue and story-telling I’ve heard in years. There’s an awkward flashback, then a jump in time, some terrible voice acting and me left wondering just what the hell is going on. Not that it matters – it’s pretty clear from the get-go who the bad guy is and his untimely betrayal comes as zero suprise. Then I’m on some… resort? Like, an entire planet that’s a resort? Is that what it is? With tough chick side-kick and cyborg side-kick. And there’s gangs of guys and then gangs of… zombies? I don’t know, a bunch of things that look like Gollum with a gun. Nothing is set up, things are kind of.
