Ah, Bulletstorm. This is probably the most fun game I’ve had the chance to play. It’s just not often in a video game where you get so much crazy fun with a regard to the rules.First, the box is very eye-catching. Good job on the producer’s/developer’s part. The graphics nice and easy on the eyes. There’s no crazy contrast like Battlefield 3, and the death in injury scenes are quite brutal. I’m not sure if it would be alright if I even described some of the enemy death scenes. It really is on the of the game’s strong points though. The ability to gruesomely kill you’re enemies is quite enjoyable. Now lets go to a part a part of the game that some people just can’t stand. The language. Personally, I have nothing against the language in this game. It fits in perfectly with the crazy violence, even if some the quotes make me feel like I’m back in Middle School.I have not noticed many glitches in the game, just falling underneath the map once and having characters get stuck.Other than the short but fun campaign, there is a mode called “Echos” where you back to spots in the campaign and try to get the most points as possible. They are enjoyable for a while, but I wish they included areas other than the one’s that are in the campaign.Multiplayer wise, the game is great fun. I have not had any problem with lag, and having multiple buddies come along for the carnage is great fun in the co-op mode. Kicking enemies in sharp cacti it so much more fun with a friend.Overall, Bulletsorm is j.

I went into this game expecting to be let down. I thought it looked a little cheesy and also a little over the top. It definitely is over the top, but in all the right ways and I’m having a lot of fun with it.

    Great game

I don’t often endorse a game like this, but this is a MUST buy. So many of the FPS (1st person shooters) out there are the same old thing. They are just rehashed with a different background, slightly different guns, and a few tweaks. This game is something completely different. If I had to compare it something I would say it is a cross between Badlands and Gears of War. It takes some of the best they have to offer and combines it in one game. It has the mood of Gears, but it is all FPS- not 3rd person. Quite a bit of depth and not as short as some reviewers saying it is- also some cool gets to make you come back and play the campaign more then once.Game moves very fast- if I do have a bit of a complaint it’s that gameplay can get a little repetitive. Still it’s the kind of repetitive that isn’t that bad because it’s still fun.

…or serious at all really.A lot of people complain about games that are too serious or shoot-bangy. Well this is still pretty shoot-bang but calling it serious would be quite the blatant lie. It’s a shame this game kind of fell under most peoples radars as it’s extremely fun care-free murder rampage. The games main gimmick is that the entire point is to, well, gain points. This is achieved by killing enemies in various and creative ways. The more ridiculous you get the more points you achieve. It’s that simple and it works really well. Sniper rounds that remote control their targets until they explode? Check. Pulling people via a leash towards you, shooting them, then kicking them into a cactus? Check. A gun that shoots 50-100 ( I forget the exact numbers) rounds at once? Check! It’s fun. It’s stupid. I love it.

Bulletstorm, put simply, is a non-stop action-shooter that won’t let up until the credits roll. Once I picked up the controller I could not put it back down. The result was a game I finished quickly but find unquestionable replayable whenever I’m in the mood for insane FPS action! While the story is fairly generic, the voice acting and “crude” or “vulgar” dialogue (hilarious stuff, by the way) make the cut scenes a joy to witness. Characterizations are good, too, so you will care what happens to these people, you just might not be surprised.Gameplay is king here. Nothing feels more rewarding that rushing into the next battle zone, pulling an enemy towards you in slow-mo, then using your gun or mighty boot to send the poor fellow into a bed of spikes, pitfall, or giant cactus. Combat is generally fast and fluid. You’ll also be rewarded for embracing the “kill with skill” mentality. Get creative and you’ll receive points that allow you to purchase weapon upgrades and ammo. You won’t get bored!Graphics are mostly good. Close-ups of characters tend to reveal some weakness (especially with hair detail and animation) but everything else looks great, especially the stunning backgrounds. During a brief moment of peace between firefights you’ll eventually find yourself on a gorgeous seashore surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and giant gears, all framed by a beautifully rendered sky and sunlight. The inclusion of such beauty amid the horrors of constant fighting is wonderfully effect.

One of the best most addictive games ever!!! Definitely in my all time top 10 list. Basically a fun tongue in cheek first person shooter version of Gears.

    One of my favorite games

Tries too hard, although it is entertaining. Definitely a self-parody of sorts, but it falls flat frequently enough where replay isn’t as fun as one might think.
