My daughters are eight years old and have been playing this game for 2 days now. They love it. It was easy for them to figure out the moves and the music is fun to listen to. They said it was their favorite Wii game so far. It’s good exercise and I can even use it for workouts in the workout mode. No extra equipment is needed, just the basic Wii remotes.

I actually ordered this as a gift for my niece and she loved it. She likes playing this game and also the basic moves (as she is just 3 now). But nice game…

  3. Lady Bree

I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun this game was for me. Highly addictive and with a little more effort a pretty good workout (especially the workout section)!

This game is so much fun! it was easy enough to pick up the moves but challenging enough to not beat every song on the first try-and after you beat them on the normal mode, try again on the hard mode, same song-it just adds more moves. It really makes you get up and dance, even tho you do not have to move your feet, I found myself trying to really mimick all the foot movements as well..I was looking for a game that made me move/exercise but was still fun..I’m in my 30’s-had songs I remember from high school plus songs my 10 year old daughter knew as well..

  5. Sammy

Bought this game for my niece’s birthday. Turned out to be a hit! Some of the moves it asks you to perform are pretty difficult. If you’re looking to be able to compete against your pre-teen at this game, good luck! Only negative was the lack of responsiveness at times with the Wii remote not registering all the cheer moves.

I has a little hesitant to buy the game, trying to figure out how in the world you could cheer with a nunchuck attached to a controller, but once I got it I was relieved to see that you use 2 wiimotes, not a nunchuck :)The game is so addicting and so much fun, and its a real workout!! I played for at least 8 hours straight the day I got it and boy did my arms pay me back for it the next day lol!My only complaint is the ‘prizes’ are just different uniform pieces, and is it just me or does it look like they give you duplicates of the same ones at times? I don’t like the names of the cheerleaders you get to choose from either, but its not a big deal. I adore this game, I hope they make a sequel with more songs!

My daughter is almost 6 and she loves this game. Yes, it is somewhat difficult to follow, but it is still entertaining and she has not been discouraged yet.

I read all the reviews before purchasing this game for my 10 year old granddaughter. Some loved it and some did not (from their posting it appeared that they were males in their 20’s or 30’s). We played the game at Christmas and all of us, ages from 10 to 61 had a ball, males and females!! And yes, grandma is the Cheer champion of the family, at least for now. I am consisting going out and purchase the game from myself so that I can retain the position of champion, but more for the fun workout it has when you play it. I would have liked more songs I know, but oldies, are not always what the younger generation wants. We did not find it hard to figure out and enjoyed trying to keep up with the movements. Isn’t that what the Wii is all about? Getting you up and off the couch and having fun doing it. It did for us.

I am 30 yrs old and I love this game!! It is so much fun and it really gets you up and moving. Even my younger daughters love it too!! You have normal or hard setting. I always have to remember to stretch my arms after or I am left sore!!Lots of fun!! Get up and CHEER!!
