OKay first off, we all knew this game wasn’t going to be amazing from the get go. It’s a licensed game from people who made the Transformers games. The gameplay is just plain boring, repetitive and sometimes annoying. The challenges are frustrating on level two: they run in the damn sewers and there is only one way to get to their spawn…and that’s climb the stairs. The campaign was long and a bore after about an hour…which is actually 1/4 of the game…it’s short. The only reason I put myself through this game is Nolan North does a fantastic job portraying the Merc with a Mouth. I believe four stars is a fair accolade… 5 is just stupid and anything lower than 3 is just critical. For some main points to put together here are my commentsPros:+ Funny dialogue/very entertaining+ a decent strew of weapons although you might not enjoy using any of the unlock able melee weapons+ a wide variety of types of enemies that require you to switch between projectile and melee weapons+ level design isn’t copy and paste…I for one enjoyed the constant difference in structure+ it wasn’t dumbed down to appeal to a younger audienceCons- Graphics are meh- Short Campaign- Dialogue is easily skipped on accident (So just be ready to not press buttons like I did when Deadpool interacts with characters)- Challenges and enemies in general are very frustrating even on the lowest difficulty- Combat and Combos are very simple: Slice, slam with heavy attack, shoot, evade. This is so awesome fun and a little bit nuts but I would recommend this game to all the fans of superheros mostly to deadpool fans. The game should have been a little longer with more levels and some of the achievements could have been easier to get
I played this at a friends house, and decided I had to have it. It gets a little repetitious, but most shooter/fighting games do. The humor is hilarious, but it’s pretty crass so I don’t recommend it for younger children.
This definitely for a mature audience! I know that it what the rating is on the front, but me being naive about games, took it a bit lightly. My son was begging me for this game for his birthday, because he is into Marvel games and videos. I bought into it, and almost regret it. The game is pretty bloody and gory, and has a lot of crude humor surrounding the violence. Honestly, I am not too worried about my son playing violent video games as much as I am about the crude humor centered around the violent actions. Nonetheless, the graphics are well done, and the game plays in our Xbox360 without freezing. Overall, I rated this 4 stars because it’s a video game that seems to be pretty well designed, I would just err on the side of caution before having your teens play this.
If you know Deadpool, or just want a game for the pure entertainment value, you’ll enjoy this game. My buddy and I spent the entire game laughing out loud (literally). It’s not a giant leap in gaming or anything, but it’s a fun, funny and all around good game.
If you are a big Deapool fan, you will slog through the repetitive enemies and combat for the incredible cutscenes, because they are worth it. The gameplay is a bit of a chore, but I can usually only play in short spurts so it didn’t get on my nerves too much. The game is far from perfect, but the gameplay also never does anything wrong, its just not very exciting. Some parts are totally insane and show the character well however. Overall, I would say it was 2 stars for a non-Deadpool fan, 4 stars for a fan of the character.
If you’re a Deadpool fan, this game is for you. The other reviews break down the game so I’m not going to do the same. The only major complaint I have is the shooting controls… They kind of really suck, but the game itself is wildly entertaining. The story and the craziness Deadpool says and does is worth it.
This is a great game for any DeadPool Fan. Nothing but button mashing and crude and funny comments. Alternate decisions give it replay value. What more could a fan ask in a DeadPool Game?!?! If you are strictly buying to cure your video game addiction and don’t expect to replay then borrow from a friend who bought it off retrolio.
This is a graphic and violent game. Quite a bit of language as well. But not nearly as much so as the movie. So if you let your kids watch the movie they can certainly play this.

Great game, has more depth than most hack and slash games. definitely worth another paly through to get all items and unlock all upgrades. The writers did a great job of keeping with Deadpool’s insane and comical style of narration.

This game is awesome! Beat it on Veteran, now doing challenges. Not for kids! The action, weapons and Xmen are great. Just wish it was longer. Hope they make a second one.

I bought this as a present for my husband, as he loves everything Deadpool. The game arrived quickly and had no scratches or damage. As for the game itself, my husband said it had great graphics and was pretty easy to get through the levels. I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent “new” game to try or any Deadpool fans.

First and foremost, this is NOT a game for children. The cover could deceive some in thinking its safe for kids, but it is mark “Mature” for a reason.Now on to the game review – which this game took a very different and welcomed approach for a third person action game. The concept of having the character you control actually interact with you is pretty damn cool. I’m on the very last mission and I can tell you that you will enjoy this game if you like crude humor and some damn cool bloody violence in your super hero games. I laughed out loud several times playing this game. This is not a serious game and shouldn’t be taken seriously either as the premise is that it is a game. Dead Pool himself reminds you of that often throughout the game.You use Dead Pool points in order to build up your health, strength, get different combos, and purchase different weapons. You will find that a bear trap, yes – bear traps, will come in very handy when fighting bosses and I recommend get them early. Also, a well planted mine will help big time when dealing with the “clones” because if enough of them get close to you and they explode, well you’re dead. Throwing a mine out as they are chasing you will do the trick exploding every one of them within range though.If you are a Marvel fan you will find the cameos really cool, from Cable, Wolverine, to Rogue along with a few others. The game does somewhat get repetitive, but not enough to bore you. High Moon Studios did a good job with c.

My daughter wanted this for so long, so I got it for her as a gift. Based off her reactions:The game ran smooth with no glitches or lag.The action and fight scenes were plentiful.The plot and game as a whole was random (im told it fit the character perfectly though).And lastly that it ended too soon. She had beaten it within only two afternoons, roughly 7 hours.All the same she loves it and hopes they’ll release another Deadpool game soon.

If you are familiar with Deadpool you will know his humor and how he breaks the 4th wall consistantly. This is continiued in the game to where many references are made to him being in a game and talking about the game developers as well. I thought the humor in this game was well done and faithfully represents the character.The gameplay is decent and has a variety of weapons to use and an upgrade system that allows you to increase things such as health, regen, weapons, etc.It’s a decent length to where it doesn’t overstay it’s welcome, and I think if you are a fan of deadpool you will love it.If you don’t know much about the character it’s ok because it gives you brief overviews about the characters in the games as you play, and you don’t really feel left out.I think this is definitely an underrated game that deserves a bit more attention.
