So I purchased Zumba and was very disappointed with the flow of the game as well as the minimal personalization and training it had to offer. Decided to purchase Your Shape: Fitness Evolved and am beyond pleased with everything it has to offer. If you purchase the updates the activities seem endless and the personal training really helps kick your butt. It totally personalizes the routines to your fitness levels. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a fun way to get in great shape!

They did a great job with this – it shows that they consulted Men’s and Women’s health. I love the bonus routines, but dislike the cost of buying new ones. Tracking was pretty strong for me, especially after I raised the camera above the tv. The punching game is wonderful, but it needs to be longer. I also was disappointed that some of the activities from the commercials don’t seem to be in the game (at least the parts I’ve seen of it so far).If you are already a workout person and in good shape, there’s a chance you’ll find this less productive than you’re used to. Plan to allocate more time than usual if you want to get a workout that pushes you. I understand there are more advanced routines available (again for a cost), so this might not be true for those. For the price, this is a bargain. I won’t try active 2 because I can’t imagine that being worth the price, but this one definitely was.

So I have heard a lot of good feedback about this game. I recently bought my Kinect before christmas and have been using the dance game as a workout, which works really good! this on the other hand is a whole new deal. I feel as if i have my own personal trainer in my room! It scans your whole body and height, you put in your weight and they have a million different options for if you want to lose weight, or just feel good in general. Im a big fan of yoga and there yoga thai chi section rocks for me becuse its simple, it works you out without you feeling like your working out, and it doesnt cost me $50 a session. So for someone who doesnt have the cash or time to go into the outside world to excersize, or like me, a little embarrased to wobble around in public, this $30 dollar game is worth millions, and i believe will help transform our now flabby america back into a fit age!

The condition of this product although used was spectacular and brand new. The games are fun with some more challenging than others, and the meditation part of the game is very well guided without breaking your concentration. For those seeking enlightenment or just wanting to feel better overall, I would highly recommend this game for you.

A really great zen workout game. When I first played this I was kinda tripped out but after playing for awhile I got used to it.

Okay im an extremely fit young man, played multiple sports, 5’10” 190 lbs 9 % body fat and this game is a WORK OUT!!! especially for the weighted routines, if you do those with dumbbells, you will feel the burn, even the cardio exercises get me breathing a little heavy. The only complaint i have is the tracing on some of the movements, itll say get back in rhythm when im doing exactly what the game says, but that only happens occasionally, overall and amazing game and it WILL get you in better shape in an extremely fun way if you use it properly!!

So let me preface this review by saying I’m in good shape (completed P90X, Insanity, run about 15 miles a week) and had done the original Yourself!Fitness on the Xbox. So I’m really no slouch when it comes to at least being somewhat “active”.All in all, I’ve been pleased with the workouts provided. While they aren’t very challenging for me, they still get my heart rate up and some sweat has been produced. More importantly, the burn in my legs is a lot more with this program than other routines I’m doing. If you’ve done any working out lately, you will get annoyed with the initial player set-up and when you first go through routines. This game makes you “learn” all the exercises before you can jump in and go…so yes, I had to do the step touch, jumping jacks, front kick, side kick, squat in sync with the trainer. Now that’s kind of annoying but I understand probably a necessary evil for beginners. My kick boxing routine was about 5 minutes long and did a decent job of getting my heart rate up. My cardio was about 8 minutes and it also did a good job. So far today, I’ve burned just under 300 calories in about 30 minutes of messing around with it.Perhaps the most fun for me was choosing the “skin” of my player on the screen. Multi-color, starry, black and white, skin tone, dazzling, chrome…so many choices. Right now I’m on the “fire” skin and I look like the flame character human torch from the Fantastic Four! Very cool!So all in all, I don’t think it will give you ve.

Not a bad game at all. The workouts are good and get you moving. No problem with the kinect either. Tracking was fine. I think it should have a little more tho. Its cool cuz it keeps track of your calories burned and everything for you. I would recommend this to others.

this such a great idea, to help those that do not know how to properly meditate. Also the breathing techniques assist with playing a physical sports :) im ready for virtual reality…lol
