Obviously this game is amazing – if you’re considering it, it absolutely blew me away even though my expectations were rather high. I would say the visuals are a little finicky, but it’s more endearing than any kind of problem with gameplay, or the overall experience.I have hearing problems, so I always have subtitles on, and they’re a good size on a tv or on the switch itself, so I’m not quite sure what that other review had a trouble with, though I do have to wear my glasses to play if it’s on a tv, so hey, maybe I’m just being contradictory. When it comes to the general quality of the port – it’s absolutely astounding, especially considering I didn’t have to buy another console. Sometimes loading screens are a bit longer than I think the developer intended, or sometimes certain models have to clip a little bit, but it definitely runs better than skyrim on the switch, so absolutely worth the buy in my humble opinion, if that’s your concern.I’ve really enjoyed the game so far, I’m super excited to play the DLC, and this ultimate edition comes with a map and TWO stickers! Even my longboard felt included in my witcher hype. It’s sick, you just have to experience it, and this is a really good way to buy it.

Great game with tons of content. You do lose some of the graphical fidelity due to the power of the switch but it is worth the ability to take the game on the go.

This!!……. This is how many physical games should come to the Switch. The whole Game, plus DLC included in the cartridge. not that ridiculous download required of many games recently. no download code for half the game. The entire game is in a. single 32 gb cartridge. I have to buy this game, not only because is awesome, but because clearly the studio respect the costumers. they can have my business any time. I will always support physical editions like this one. This is an example to follow for every other company. Game is great and I don’t. care about the visual downgrade in comparison to other consoles. I want it portable so I can play while I travel. This is perfect for me.

Excited to play! Especially on my Switch. I got it for the PS4 but since I got my Switch my PS4 is basically just for streaming rn lol

Played Witcher 3 on powerful PC… LOVED it… just played on Switch and yes, the graphics were toned down, but the port is amazing and every bit as fun to play (and amazing at 55″)… highly recommend… this is a stunning accomplishment for switch hope there are more like this to follow

I love that it’s a portable Witcher for on the go play. Glad I can enjoy Witcher adventures away from my home console. The only thing I dislike but hardly matters is the graphics but hey it’s not that bad.

Amazing game, but it has many issues on the Switch. It’s crashed a lot on me, with other bugs like glitching into an ocean without a top or bottom and stuttering cut scenes. Hope they can send out a good patch soon

First foray into the Continent, and Im thoroughly enjoying this port to the Switch! Challenging game play, vast map, and definitely colorful characters

Runs perfectly fine most of the time. Does chunk up more than I wish it did. Sometimes feels like a cellphone port of an early 2000s game.

It definitely makes the top 10 Switch games to own. The production quality and story are definitely there and it plays well. Being that I never played the game on PC, the graphics look excellent to me. I have not tested out the surrounds sound but using Bluetooth headphones, the game sounds top notch. I only regret not having too much time to play but that’s where the Switch version truly beats out the other ones. Got 5-10 spare minutes no problem, just pop out the switch and you’re good to go. So I just mainly play it for a few minutes before I go to sleep and after waking up. The physical version comes with some nice bonuses: a letter from the developers, some stickers, and a map. Unfortunately, when it comes to spoken languages, you get English, French, Portuguese (Brazil), and no Spanish. The subtitles fare better featuring even Chinese, Arabic, Turk, and Hungarian. Pretty much almost everyone will be able to read the game’s subtitles in their native tongue. Hopefully down the line, we will be able to download other languages given there is an option to do so in the game’s language menu but as of right now it is currently inactive. Overall, if you own the Switch and never played the Witcher, this is a must buy game on Switch. If you played the Witcher before and don’t mind the looks then this an excellent way to experience the game anew.
