I just started playing this game and its already really amazing!I actually just got it today (Oct. 15) and I was so excited to play it! I’ve played the first one and it was awesome as well. I highly recommend this game for those who love the semi new disney magical world series and thank you so much retrolio!! :)

I bought this game just for laughs and I actually like it. I find myself getting excited when I unlock a new world and I can’t wait for The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. The tutorial is kind of long, but it does teach you a lot about the game, things you would have trouble learning on your own. My only complaint is that there are sooooo many loading pages that aren’t necessary. For example, you’ll be talking to a character and if an event happens it’ll switch to a loading scene just because you have stopped talking to them. Idk, how to explain it…other than that I would recommend this game to anyone!!!! Even adults.

I was really excited to find out this game was finally being localized after waiting over a year with no news; I was a big fan of the first game and was hoping it was popular enough to localize the sequel. I have to say, it is a HUGE improvement on the original. Things that were difficult, annoying, or troublesome about the first game have been improved or outright eliminated in this version, like making it more clear how to obtain rare items, and reducing the overall cost of building the enormous repertoire of outfits and variations of those outfits that the game offers. I like to tell people this game is very similar to Animal Crossing, which it is, but I feel it actually has more to offer with the combat element of the "episodes" where you can fight ghosts, and if you’re a Disney fan, plenty to unlock and explore. I think kids will be interested in seeing the characters and collecting the fashion outfits, and adults will really enjoy the intense collecting and achievement hunting aspects. My only regret is not being able to get the preorder bonus outfits, but new special content will be added each month for free through the game’s website with QR codes, so I have that to look forward to. There is a lot of replayability and fun in picking up the game after not playing for a while as well, since the decorations in the town and available items and missions change with the seasons.

If you played the first Disney’s Magical World, then you know what to expect from this game. What I didn’t expect was that this version would be better than the original. The town is larger, and it’s adorable to be neighbors with your favorite Disney Characters. You can explore their homes and read the cute descriptions of their decorations and personal things. The game is much longer than the first, and the worlds are very detailed and true to its particular Disney movie. Being a huge fan of both Disney and Sim games, I was enchanted by the first game. This sequel is a upgrade in quality beyond what I would have expected. If I had a little girl, I could imagine her squeaking in delight the first time she has a play date with Minnie, or the first time she meets Olaf from Frozen. As it is, my 7 year old son loves the dungeons and collecting pieces to build things. If you aren’t familiar with the first game or the simulation genre, let me explain. It’s a lot like Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon, or even The Sims. The game has dungeons where you destroy mischievous ghosts with your magic wand, but it is largely a nonviolent game. In the game you explore your town as well as new worlds that open up as the game progresses. You have a cafe where you make money by selling Disney themed recipes, and you complete challenges like collecting many different items to decorate your cafe. You also have a garden in the 100 Acre Wood with Pooh. There are different festivals according to the.

It’s fun.

I wanted this so badly after playing the first Disney Magical World that I actually considered, in my desperation, breaking down and buying a Japanese Nintendo and the Japanese version of Disney Magical World 2 and learning Japanese so that I could freaking play the thing. Kid you not. I thought, worst case scenario, I would understand NOTHING and I could just download a walkthrough that would help me through it. I was seriously jonesing for it. For about a year straight, I looked online nearly every day to see if Disney had changed their mind about creating DMW2 in the US. No luck. Finally, I sort of gave up. Put it on a shelf of dreams and let it collect dust. Then? A few days ago I was at Target perusing the new DS3 games – and low and behold, there it was. I thought I was dreaming. I made SUCH a mad, screaming fuss, my husband recorded me on his phone for posterity’s sake. I was on Cloud 9. No, Cloud 12. That’s more like it. And I still am! And what could possibly make this game better than it already is? Better than the addictive, colorful, friendly, adventurous, WONDERFUL game it is? Apparently you can play with someone else. WHAT???!!! Yep. You can play with someone else online. Now, I haven’t managed to figure this aspect of the game out yet, but what did I do but go out and immediately buy another game for my daughter so that we could play it together – hopefully. So, in short, I am quite pleased this is here, and that’s putting it ridiculously mildly. I can’t thank Di.

I’ve been playing the game since launch and there’s definitely a lot more to do in this game vs the first Disney Magical World. The one thing I didn’t like had to be the super long tutorial (shows in the game as "Recommended Stickers"). You have to get through the agonizing tutorial before you’re given any kind of freedom to roam around and do as you please. Yes, the sticker system is still in place for this game (every time you achieve something you unlock more stickers. Different areas in town will unlock something new once you have certain amounts of stickers). They replaced the trading cards from the previous game with puzzle pieces that you can use to enter a dream episode and play around in with different Disney characters depending on what puzzles you collect. This game is kind of a mash up between Kingdom Hearts and Animal Crossing. You still fight ghosts with your magic wand that Yen Sid gives you, you still run a café, fish, grow a garden, make clothes and furniture. There’s a few new features: 3 little pigs–different times throughout the day, 1 of the 3 little pigs will be selling house renovations; straw, wood, and brick. New worlds–the little mermaid, lilo and stitch, frozen, and snow white. Returning worlds would be Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland. Your house is now separate from the café and the main disney crew have houses in your neighborhood. There’s also a helpful notice board you’ll eventually unlock on your menu, it tells you when your c.
