Had been looking for this game for months for my grand kids and never thought I would find it. It was delivered on time for Christmas. They love it.
Cathy Ontiveros –
Grandkids loved this game, they tend to for the race type games, just like Mario go carts, but with different characters.

While High Impact Games reworked their unfortunately canceled Crash Team Racing reboot into the console and 3DS versions of Dreamworks SuperStar Kartz, the same development team that did the DS version of Madagascar Kartz worked on this version instead. Despite that, though, I did give that game a positive review, so I can’t necessarily say it’s a bad thing. Both games do a fine job of emulating Mario Kart’s zany racing gameplay with their own cast of characters. This time around, it makes a lot more sense that Shrek and Bob are playable, because this is a Dreamworks crossover game. I wish more movies were represented, though. We have Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek, and Monsters & Aliens in here, but what about Flushed Away or Over the Hedge or even Shark Tale characters? Oh well.Dreamworks SuperStar Kartz on the DS feels like Madagascar Kartz right down to the gameplay engine, menus, and item selection. What’s different is, of course, the selection of tracks, and the apparent lack of mangoes to collect. The tracks definitely feel more inspired, with locations taking place in areas such as an evil aircraft from MvA and a castle in Far Far Away. A few tracks from Madagascar Kartz make a return for that series’s representation, though, and frankly, I wish they were replaced with brand-new tracks. Plus, this game also has reverse variations on tracks already in the roster.Like before, though, everything else still checks out fine. The graphics actually seem to look b.
