First off, this is a GREAT game! This is a open world game that has a lot of replay value towards it. There are numerous ways to go about the game and I recommend that you take you time and go for 100% completion.Undead Nightmare was decent, and you should play Redemption beforehand. However, as a stand alone game it lacks depth but as DLC it is fine.I would recommend this if your a fan of GTA series, LA Noire, Infamous games. I would NOT recommend this for kids under 10 because of language, drug use, and sex in game cutscenes, but you can skip them if desired.Overall, this game is up there with Uncharted series as one of the best on PS3. I can’t wait for RDR 2!!

This game is really fun! Great graphics, fun story and the online multiplayer is great! There’s a lot of campaigns/missions as well as zombie mode where you defend yourself against swarms. You don’t need an online code for it to work either. Good buy, I’d recommend this game.

Carefully packed, faster delivery than expected. Can’t wait to play…!

    Great!

I’ve never played this game until today. I’ve been playing for over an hour and it’s cool. Free roaming in the west, it’s like gta v mixed with LA Noire and a western. All of the free dlc comes in the disc and installs before you can play. Looks like this game will take weeks to beat and explore.

This has been by far a most entertaining game. Great storyline, voice acting, environment, and achievements. I have yet to play the Undead aspect of this game, but the original game is one of the best games I have ever played. I eagerly look forward to another Red Dead game by Rockstar.I cannot say any more than previous reviewers have encapsulated on how great of a game it is. Sure there is some repetition in random encounters and some long horse rides, but the game is incredibly addicting.I recommend you buy the game of the year version and have fun!

The game worked fine. The only problem I had with it was that the shop sent the wrong game! It’s okay as I will use this game as trading fodder for future games.

This review is strictly based on console versions. Game itself is 10/10, must have, or at least must play experience. The game influenced a lot of future titles and developers and is definitely a legend among video games.I already owned and completed most of this game for the Xbox 360. Decided to pick it up again for nostalgic reasons and got the PS3 version since I recently purchased a refurb PS3 for cheap and it’s the one that’s currently hooked up (360 is on a well deserved hiatus). I can honestly say the PS3 version hasn’t aged well. Graphically the game is amazing for its time. The deserts look desolate, the wildlife is on part with GTA 5, the towns are alive and the game mechanics are nice and responsive. Horse riding is amazing, and so is the gunplay.PS3 version suffers from drastic frame drops (360 version does also, but not as bad). I don’t have an FPS counter available, but it certainly feels like the frames drop about 25 to 35% when trying to gallop through towns. There’s almost zero anti-aliasing, and the textures are a little more washed than the 360 version.I certainly prefer the aiming with the PS3 controller vs the 360 since the PS3 controller has little resistance in the sticks and makes for aiming a bit smoother. Now both the PS3 and 360 were considered "powerhouses" in their own respect during their run, but I would give an extra star for the 360 version here.In the end, I’ll say what everyone has been hopelessly praying for: remake. We all wish Rock.

Great game. The normal version is super addicting and intriguing to play. The Undead Nightmare is insanely challenging…having a hard time getting into it.

If you love GTA then you will love RDR because it’s the same company that makes GTA. But in the old west. I like this game because of the hunting kinda remind me of the Oregon trail game but better graphics.
