  1. Super Tramp

In My Opinion:The game was amazing and while I don’t have the time nor patience to 100%/platinum this game, those that do will spend well over 100 hrs trying to do so. The story was full of twists and the Japanese voice acting was exceptional. If you have any interest in beat ’em ups and haven’t given the Yakuza 0 a proper look, now would be a great time to jump into the series. It is a prologue to Yakuza 1 and a perfect starting point. I honestly can’t give this game enough credit and if not for Persona 5 being delayed till April 4, 2017 I might have missed this hidden gem.Sadly Sega throws some incredible games out into the wild and gamers are none the wiser because they are overshadowed by companies that spend huge amounts of money with advertisement. For example, Capcom came out with a game the same day that Yakuza 0 came out and while the game was mediocre at best, the company was able to boast sales of over 2 million within a week thanks to advertisement and the title/franchise. I’m looking at you Resident Evil 7.My point is that just because a game doesn’t take center stage on release day doesn’t mean the game isn’t worthy of you time. If you don’t believe me look at gamer scores at gamefaqs or metacritic. Not the critic scores but the user scores. I won’t go into why critic scores are not to be trusted because I’m sure most of you know.Anyway, I’m not huge on writing reviews and I usually wouldn’t bother but this game is just that good. Buy it, borrow it, rent it. It i.

For an older port this is one of the best games i have ever played and have quickly become a fan of the series! I most definitely recommend! Game has a great story and awesome gamplay and so much to do as side missions. Has so many intense moments and funny and everything you could want.

  3. Armored Ape

Yakuza 0 takes us back to Japan during the 1980s, offering up a brand new tale in the Yakuza franchise. But with so many titles in the franchise, can Yakuza 0 offer up enough content to make it worth your money? Is this a safe game for newcomers? Hit the jump button and find out.The Yakuza series is the longest running game franchise by SEGA since dropping out of the hardware race. SEGA has released so many in the last decade that its seriously tough to keep track, this leads to a lot of new gamers being intimidated as they don’t know when to jump in. I would say that Yakuza 0 is a great starting point since its a prequel to the first game, starting with the cast when they were younger. Yakuza 0 takes place in December of 1988; which is 17 years before the events that happen in the first Yakuza game. But if you never played a Yakuza game, whats it like? Imagine if someone mashed a beat ‘em up game like Die Hard Arcade (Dynamite Deka) or Spikeout series and added a ton of Japanese RPG elements with minigames scattered around the over world for good measure. If you are interested in those types of games and like over the top action, than Yakuza might be the franchise for you!The game starts of you off with the story of Kazuma Kiryu who is trying to climb up the ranks of the Yakuza organization with his childhood friend Nishiki Akira. At the start of the game Kazuma is working as a debt collector for the Dojima family and after a job, it is reported that a person he roughed up h.

I don’t know why it took me so long to get this game, because its one of the best I’ve played, I’m having hours of fun.

  5. BRIDEOFHYDE

My daughter has loved Yakuza since the PS2 days. But I finally got around to getting a PS4 and got her the entire PS4 Yakuza library, including this game Yakuza 0. Seeing Goro Majima, the Mad Dog of Shimano as a more reserved and serious young man was a new experience for me. As always, there is humor mixed in with the gritty crime and violence. My daughter loves the random dance and karaoke minigames. In addition to the cameos by real Japanese actors, some of the sex workers in the game are modeled after real gravure models. As always the characters are multifaceted and even though Majima and Kiryu work in the crime work, they are likable and have a strong sense of justice and are basically good men. Majima and Kiryu save women, children and weak nerdy men from thugs and gang members. Yakuza is an organized crime game with a heart of gold.

I’ve loved the Yakuza series for a while now so I cannot really complain on the gameplay. Compared to the other games in the series, it requires you to explore all of the game’s features and incorporates it more than the other games. The delivery was pretty fast despite the game being out of stock for a while as well, I had no problems with this purchase.

  7. Breezy-leejunfan

This is the second Yakuza game for me to play. The first on PS4. Rich story. Long cut scenes. The sub-stories are a handful and entertaining. The mini games are cool and challenging. Fighting techniques are cool but sometimes they get repetitive, yet there is a great variety. If you want the full extent of the fighting abilities for each character you must complete the "real estate" side mission for Kiryu and the "Cabaret" side mission for Maijma. Enjoyed this prequel game and became a bigger fan of the Yakuza series.

I love this game! It’s so great to see these little origin stories of Kiryu and Majima. I’m hooked on this series after playing this. Though i wish i had played it before i played Kiwami, even then it’s still an A+ game. I love the mini games. Disco and Karaoke are amazing.

  9. Orin Yue

A game that plays like a movie, but with just enough mechanics and side quests to keep you entertained throughout. Also, plot line of the game itself is excellent

Amazing game! If you enjoy a engaging and emotional story, then this one is for you! Seriously, there is so much content in this game, that finishing all of it will cost you well over 50 hours of enjoyable content.
