(This review is not stolen. I wrote it for GameFAQs and posted it here later.)9/10 GRAPHICS:I really like the graphics. They’re pixelly and 8-bit, and while the characters are SO blocky you can barely tell what they look like, this is on purpose. The parts of the graphics that are ‘permitted’ to look more fashionable most definitely do, though! The maps look nice (though they’re pixelly as well), and the scenes are pretty artistic. The animation has nice easing and certain things such as projectiles are visually appealing. One thing I definitely did not like, though, was the layout and where certain things such as health bars and mana gauges were located. Oftentimes you’ll find yourself completely ignoring everything except these gauges, and you’ll end up paying for it later on. Making the health bars closer to the center of the screen, or making a mana gauge easier to read would have made the gameplay flow much better. Stylistically, though, it’s consistent, but I hate the font that’s used, as the lower case Os and As are extremely hard to tell apart from each other. There are also complaints that the menu looks too plain, but personally I like it; the style is simple, sure, but it looks like it’s from an independent developer, which makes it seem ‘cozy’ to me.9/10 SOUND:This game, as others have mentioned, has an excellent soundtrack. From listening to it, you will hear tons of different influences from video games and genres all around. Every track fits the mood perfectly,.

This item arrived in good time and in good shape. I haven’t had a chance to play it yet, but am looking forward to it!

A fun, fast RPG with tons of content and awesome retro sprites.

Juego muy interesante, tienes 30 segundos para salvar al reino, autocombate pero muy agil. Obviamente se necesita paciencia ya que tienes que hacer ciertas cosas una y otra vez, pero el diseño del juego lo hace muy divertido (para mi)

This is one of the most quirky yet interesting games I have ever played. You essentially have 30 seconds to save the world in each mission(granted there are ways around this such as resetting the clock) but each time is part RPG, part puzzle. It’s very fun and it is great for bite sized entertainment as you can play missions and just stop after each one. The normal length could be anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. It is fun figuring out all the different ways to complete the missions and there are multiple modes after completion to make this a worthwhile package.

So many options, including multiplayer, and it is worth the money. Picture this: The Legend of the Seeker: that’s this; medieval times and magic combine forces with hard rock music (not always) and then combine that with the 8-bit world of mario, and ca ching!! total win on your part: great game unless you don’t like anime or arcade-played 8-bit worlds. astonishingly great classic.

It’s been awhile since I’ve completely enjoyed a game as much as this one. There are 4 different play modes, some definitely better than others, but between them the game never gets old. With a humorous script and different ways to complete each level repeated playthroughs are encouraged. Still it’s overall a short game by RPG standards, about 10 hours long, but unlike most JRPGs I didn’t want this one to end. I’m a jaded cynic but I really enjoyed it. Give it a try.
