Works great…saves $$ on batteries…just have to be sure controller is placed in position to charge:)

I really enjoyed having my Nyko 360 Charge station becuase of the ease of charging two controllers. So when I saw this I couldn’t help but pick up both next gen charging stations to keep it easy. I have no issues with placing the controllers in the bay and if I did it was most likely my fault and I just dropped the controllers without paying attention. I highly recommend this product and wouldn’t hesitate to buy this product again. I also love how I get two rechargeable batteries and how the controllers charger and then the station shuts off. Couldn’t be any happier with this product.

I’ve had this charge base for quite some time and one of the things I have realized is that you do not need to place the battery inside the controller to charge it. I frequently plug the charger in, line up the battery so the controller light comes on, and hold it in place with a rock. This works wonders for me since I only have one controller. I can play on one battery as I’m charging the next one without any downtime.

me and my son loves it. I like the fact that he can just set it and forget it. when hes ready to play, his controller is fully charge. Before the nyko charge station, his controllers were constantly running out of battery. Because we first bought the Nyko Charge Dock Mini charger where you had to take the battery out and charge it. Will, my boy would always forget to charge the batteries. But with the new charge base, its just one step, problem solve. We don’t even use the Nyko Charge Dock Mini anymore. thanks nyko.

Beats buying the Microsoft play and charge kit!Pros:-Uses trickle charge so it won’t overload the battery cells thus extending the lifespan of the batteries.-Batteries have a long up-time and suffer less degradation than the Microsoft batteries in my experience.Cons:-I took off one star as the Xbox 360 version of this charging base included a USB port for charging alternate devices but this version left out the USB port option.Other Thoughts:-I do not recommend attempting to charge the nyko batteries with the Microsoft charge cable directly from the console as it tends to overcharge the battery cells and destroys the battery.

works perfectly fine but it is possible to put the batteries in the wrong way and ruin them pretty fast. luckily I caught that I had put them in the wrong way and took them out fast but still almost ruined one completely. the label on the battery pack is confusing because it shows the + and – signs on what looks to be the wrong sides compared to how the xbox ones controllers labeled. other then that this charger is awesome and very sturdy. would have giving it a 5 star rating if not for the battery being labeled weirdly.

The Nyko Charge base holds a solid change (~15 hours), has a sturdy stand, and is designed well. There are some minor quips, but considering the price and options available, the Nykko charge base for the xbox one of one of the best, if not the best for the money & performance.DESIGN:: The mount base was popular and a success for Nkyo with it’s run with the Xbox 360. No reason to change it. Essentially the same design – non slip base, angled mount, and white LED light indicators. The build is sturdy & sits comfortably on a desk or table. Very clean design. The controllers sit nicely on the mount. I’ve found one quip: it gets quite hot and open sensor can be potentially hazardous. I like to grip my controller with my index fingers right behind the cover of the battery. Just a habit. I’ve learned to consciously keep my fingers away from that area. This is more of a hot coffee warning. The performance is on cue. The mount is solid. Given my positive experience using the Nyko charge base for the Wii, Xbox 360 and now this xbox one charge base, I definitely recommend this product.

This charging base is great. I used their stand for the Xbox 360, and they have kept up the good work with the Xbox One version. The battery packs never run out of juice while I’m playing, and the controllers pop securely into place when they are charging. The battery indicator on the stand is great to know when they are fully charged.UPDATE 03/06/16: I have had this for almost a year and a half now, and the batteries show no signs of dying. I have never once had a problem with my controller dying on me during a gaming session, even if I’m playing for something like 5-6 hours or more in a day(which I don’t do too much). The only minor thing you have to look out for is making sure that the controller sits properly in the slot so that it can charge. Sometimes you drop it in but it isn’t slotted in all the way, and if you don’t nudge it into place your controller won’t charge. Just make sure you see the small charging indicator light in the front come on first and you should be fine.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I just have to say that I love this product. It keeps both of my controllers charged for a long time. The base doesn’t take up a lot of space, which is a good thing for my cluttered basement. My one complaint with this product is that if you don’t place the controllers on the base just right, the controllers won’t charge, so just take your time putting the controllers on and you shouldn’t have any problems.

I had the equivalent Nyko charger for my Xbox 360, and I bought this charger when I (finally) upgraded to Xbox One. Everything you need comes with the charger – 2 rechargeable batteries, 2 battery covers that replace the original ones on the controllers, and of course the charger itself. Both controllers charge at the same time, so I always have a charged one. Great product, haven’t had any issues. Would recommend.
