Love it! This charges quickly and I VASTLY prefer it to the official Xbox charging cord, which bends just a bit too easily. I didn’t find the batteries as difficult to use as some other reviewers. Just pay attention when you’re setting it up and it won’t be a problem. For the price, this is a very nice option, especially if you game regularly.

works great and makes change out for low battery conditions easy. when one controller gives an alert for low battery i just turn it off and drop it on the charher then pick up the auxiliary controller and continue. the batteries have lasted nearly 5 years and are cheap to replace. i like it so much i sent it to my friend as well.

I originally had one of the Microsoft Play and Charge kits for my controller, but the charging port on the controller was awful and broke pretty quickly. I didn’t want to resort to using double A batteries again so I started looking at these charging stations. I had the Xbox 360 version of this product and was very happy with it so i was pleased to see an Xbox One version. The product works and fits very well, battery life is great and I like that it doubles as a place to store my controllers when not in use. I also really like that the charger will stop charging when it notices the battery is full to prevent overcharging. My only quibble is that the connector for the battery to the base is recessed behind the battery cover on the controller so when I place the controller in the base it doesn’t always start charging and I have to wiggle it around to align the pins. It’s a minor thing and only happens every so often so not enough to dock a star for. All in all it’s a great product and I’m very happy to have it.

First of all I saved a lot of money on batteries. Previously using the mircrosoft plug and play but the cable would have connection issues to my controller and I would burn quickly through AA batteries. Don’t need to sit on the ground and fumble with charging cord. The Nyko batteries with headphone on will last pretty much the whole day. Only when I am having an all day marathon of gaming I would need to switch out the batteries for the last couple hours. Super easy to place the controller on the base at the end of the day and will be good to go in the morning. Love that it will automatically turn off when charging is complete. Sometimes the controller does not sit perfectly but to ensure it charges just wait a few seconds and the status lights will turn on. Also when the controllers are charging it looks quite impressive next to the xbox!

This base and batteries are exactly as described, batteries hold a long charge under constant play (8 hrs+). I also have the nyko charger for the 360 and it has worked well for about 5 years now so I bought the equivalent model for the Xbone. I have seen some reviews complaining about charge contact. Controller must be placed on the charging contacts properly (obviously) and there is an indicator light letting you know there is contact and charge status, it is not a real issue unless you are so impatient that you cant wait 2 seconds for the light to come on before you walk away. Product is a good value.

The important part about an item like this is not only does it do a good job of charging your controllers, but it gives you a designated place to keep them. Usually they’re just sitting in a bin (discharging) or charging via cable on top of the console. This item would be a good idea even without the charger because I love having my controllers in their own little stand that looks like its part of my setup, versus just lying around. The fact that I pull them out of their little battle station fully charged is just an added plus for me.

I had the 360 version and felt that it was pretty well designed and useful so I purchased the Xbox One version with my new console. I was concerned that these wouldn’t be as good because the Xbox One controller features a battery pack that is flush with the controller – as opposed to the 360 whose controller had a battery pack that popped out. I was worried that the charging points on the Nyko battery packs would stick out and I would constantly be distracted when I ran my fingers over them on the back of the controller. Luckily this is not the case! The contact points are recessed into the charging pack so that you can’t feel them at all when playing.A minor complaint is that I don’t feel like these last as long as AA batteries or even as long as the 360 versions battery pack. But I still get somewhere in the ballpark of 15 to 20 hours and it’s so convenient to just set them on the charging base overnight that I don’t mind.

I was looking for a play and charge kit for my xbox one controllers. I ran across the Nyko Charge Base and saw some bad reviews. After reading some replies to those bad reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I’m glad I did. I have had no problem with anything catching fire or the batteries burning up the controller. It was easy to put the battery in if you are putting it in the right direction. Easy to drop onto the charging base and the little lights on the front of the base is great to tell you when the charge is finished.I recommend this!

This Xbox One charging Dock works great. It comes with 2 Rechargeable battery Packs and new covers with a hole to allow the battery’s to charge. Make sure you install the battery’s the correct way. It’s really pretty simple, yet somehow some people have had issues?!?!? I don’t get it. If you install the battery correctly, the cover will pop on real easy. You shouldn’t have to force anything!!!It’s nice to just when you’re done gaming to just set the controller down onto this thing. Takes almost no effort and looks nice. Just pick it up and know you have a fully charged battery to game the day away!!! The price is also reasonable. The lights on front don’t stay on, which is also nice as to not being distracting if you’re watching TV. Who wants lights in front of them!I’ll update this review if/when I have anything new to report.

Works super well. No problems installing the batteries into the controllers, and they hold a really long charge. The base is easy to put the controllers on, and charges them quickly. The indicator lights on the front are a great detail, and they turn off when the controller is fully charged which is nice. Overall, a great value that I definitely recommend.
