    It was in great condition

The box came cracked, haven’t had a chance to test out the disk, but it was also scratched a lot and also outside of it’s holding place and just knocking around. That wouldn’t have happened if it was properly placed there and it arrived a few days later than expected.Still had the manual, but wasn’t what I expected with their description of the item.

I finally bought this game a couple weeks ago when I got my Wii. This game is so much fun. There’s a better story line, perfect controls, great sound, and some pretty nice graphics too. Once and for all we get to kill Dark Samus and stop the Corruption for good!I’ll start off by saying the new weapons and gadgets are pretty cool. Some are sort of useless after one use, such as the ship missiles, but are still required to reach 100% pickups. I have no idea why there are so many ship missile expansions in the game because they are absolutely useless unless you want to get the special ending. Oh well; that takes no value away from the game whatsoever. Every new beam you get is backwards compatible with your previous beam, which is frickin awesome. No more D-pad using to switch between beams. The only quirk I really have about the weapons is that missiles are rarely used and not even necessary to kill the bosses in this game. Most of the time you’ll be using the hyperbeam to kill tough enemies and bosses. And you get that almost in the beginning of the game!!!The sound in MP3 is very good. I don’t think it’s as good as MP1 was but the soundtrack is not bad at all. Bryo is probably my favorite piece. MP1 had almost identical music to Super Metroid in non midi form and that’s what made it so great. Magmoor Caverns took the music from Super Metroid’s Norfair area and that is by far my favorite level music from Metroid. The voice acting is also actually pretty good for.

This is an amazing game for the metroid series, complete with familiar music, ship control and memorable boss battles. Grab this one if you enjoyed Super Metroid back in ’94!

An excellent entry into the Prime series, though it’s not without flaws. The gameplay is pretty much the same as Prime 1 and 2, so if you enjoyed those you’ll probably enjoy this. For being a Wii game the graphics actually hold up decently against today’s standards, and the music is what you’d expect from a Prime game (a lot of reused audio from previous games, with some new flair thrown in). What irritated me was the gimmicky Wii controls. Aiming at enemies is not only tiring, but also inaccurate a lot of the time. Even the sequences where you rotate the wii remote for various control interfaces doesn’t respond overly well. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either.Beyond the controls the rest of the game is great. The story seems a little more cohesive than the first 2 games so it’s a little more immersive and you interact more with other “friendly” characters. The gameplay itself moves at a fair pace, and there’s more than enough to do in terms of hours of gameplay.

Metroid Prime 3 is the best first person shooter I have ever played, like all the other Metroids it is an action game, a puzzle, a shooter, an RPG, an adventure, and a sci-fi game. It has all of the greatest generes put all together into one game. As you probably already know, you use the wii-remote to aim your arm cannon. You also can do pretty much everything else as the previous Metroid Primes, a variety of visors, including scan, you have missles, power bombs, a variety of different beams, and you can go into morph ball form. Some added abilities is the grappling hook, you may have had this in the other Metroid Primes, but now you can use your nunchuck to shoot it out and pull it back in. Not only can you swing from it but you can all ripp enemies’ shields away. Some other added content to this game is something called Hyper Mode, it is similiar to Spider-Man3 for the Wii, it will cost you one energy tank to enter by holding down the + button, it makes you become more powerful and invincible. But if you enter it for too long you will fall into Corrupt Hypermode, at which a red meter will start to rise, and if it fills all the way out, Samus will become corrupted and the game ends, so you should exit Hypermode before it is too late. There are so many other awesome things, including the return of Dark Samus!I normally buy all my games online so that I can get them cheaper, but I could not stop myself from rushing to Target and buy this game the day it came out. This certainl.

I bought this game from my local GameStop today on its release day (28th). After 2 hours of play I have to say I am thoroughly pleased. I was a humongous fan of the original primes debut and then was minorly disappointed with the second. The third blows the previous two out of the water.Visuals: While improved, I see no reason to consider these graphics “Amazing”, but they certainly get the job done. Everything is beautiful and well done, just not a 100% eye candy feast.Sound: Im a huge fan of the music from all Metroids. The game recreates the games musics, plus all the quick tones that you get from completing a puzzle, or exiting your ship are brought right back with plenty of nostalgia.Story: A complete 360 degree improvement. You have allies, main characters, plot development, character development, and full voice acting! I was more than happy to see the heroine remain silent but have the world moving around her in full speech. Compare it to Zelda if all the text of people you were talking to was voice acted.Gameplay: This is where I reveal my one tiny annoyance with the game. You use the remote to point and fire your arm cannon. Its also used for her left arm to interact with all sorts of other things. While this is brilliantly done and can lead to some VERY intense boss battles….after an hour I was left with my wrist a bit sore. After an hour and a half I was constantly attempting to move my wrist on my lap or leg so that it wasnt strained. This is an obvious problem.

This game is fantastic. Not only is creative and unique, but it is very challenging and really utilizes the Wii controls. The plants you visit are wonderful, the graphics are spectacular and the puzzles are very thoughtful. I thought I would be done with this game very quickly when I first read about it, but it has provided hours of entertainment and I am only 20% of the way through. One of the best features is that the game is not linear. You really have to understand the story and remember where you have been and what clues were given to make it through (don’t worry, there are plenty of online walkthroughs if you get stuck).

And everyone knows, when the hubs is happy, the wife can be happy too. And have the remote control all to herself while he wiles away hours playing Metroid.Seriously though, the game is very pretty. He says it’s the best one so far and he’s played them all. I like it that he is very pleased. If you want to know about game specifics then you will need to read someone else’s review. But I can say it was worth every penny if you’re a woman wanting to make your Metroid head of a husband happy.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is the last installment in the epic Prime series–And what an epic conclusion it is!Retro Studios successfully accomplished to strike a perfect balance between the exploration and shooting aspects of the Prime series and deliver one of the most enjoyabe games in the past years. The level of polish and dedication put into this game is so great that Retro Studios managed to outdo themselves by creating a game superior to the previous two installments. The graphics are fantastic. And not just for a Wii game, but for any game. Retro has shown the world that technical power is not more important than art direction. Simply put, the art direction for this game is phenomenal and can scarcely find a true competitor. Not to mention the controls!Metroid Prime 3: Corruption has the best controls for a First-Person game, Period. The level of intuitiveness is magnificent. These are Wii controls done right.Retro has done no wrong to either the game or the fans of the series. They have created a masterpiece. Easily the best game for Wii.Buy it, play it, love it, play it again.
