    Amazing came fast, works.

First, I’m a huge fan of the NFS line. This game was the second game i bought for the Sony PSP and was a bit sceptical about it after buying Ape Escape. But this game changed my mind. The Upgrade system is probably the best system ever, having rollover system upgrades, and the visual upgrade system you really dont have to buy. The fact that in the end you can have every car and every upgrade is a definate plus. The only things I don’t like about it are the few tracks you have to run on, the annoying drift mode, and the music from NFSU2. Overall this game is a good one and is (in my honest opinion) better than Ridge Racer.PS. The Wi-Fi ability is VERY entertaining between friends.

yes.Rivals is a great racing game in itself, but the fact that it is in the palm of your hands is really amazing. The game plays a lot like the first Underground, no free roaming, which is good, because you can get right into the action. In Rivals, you’ll find some new features that are welcomed to the series… Like some more domestic cars, and wireless multiplayer. The upgrade system is pretty cool too. You earn “Upgrade Points” which can be used to buy parts or cars. You also earn “Driver Points”, which are applied to your rank. I had a great time unlocking all the bonus upgrades in each of the games upgradeable categories. It just had me playing non-stop just to get the next upgrade so I could beat my friend. The multiplayer in this game is awesome. Every time you beat someone, you get a little “Stamp” saying that you either owned your opponent or your opponent owned you. I’ve played this game for about 40 hours now, and seems like I will play it for another 40. If you are a hardcore fan of the series, this is a must-have. If you kinda-sorta liked Underground, this handheld version will probably do it for you.

I bought this game with my PSP because it was heavily discounted, and have mixed – mainly positive things to say about it. Firstly, to those who say the cars are too hard to control, blah blah blah I’m a novice at racers and had little problem controlling the stick (I got the hang after 15 minutes or so). It really depends on the cars, some are twitchy.Other than that, this is a usual NFU underground game. Good range of tracks, good music.etc.etc. One criticism is no time trial mode – one of the most fun bits of a racing game is trying to beat your time/ghost. Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to use the Wi-Fi.Graphics are good for PSP – I’m still getting used to playing a 3D game on a handheld…but overall, I don’t know if I should have got Ridge Racer cos I’ve already bought it so it doesn’t matter. The next game I’m getting will be Lumines…supposedly very addictive. Anyway, get this if you like games where you can customise your car or like a street racer. This or Midnight Club 3 DUB version.

    good game

I do, every racing game I haved played just doenst hold my interest. Yet when my PSP came with NFS:UR I had no idea it would become my favoret PSP game. The Graphics are amazing! Soundtrack is very good. The cars can be modified in an almost unlimited way from the paint job, to the turbo setup. I cant put this one down and I think it should be one of the games you get with your PSP. I feel this game takes advantage of what the PSP can do as a gamming machine.

This is an awesome game. It’s like Need for Speed: Underground, with some features from Need for Speed: Underground 2. This graphics are AWESOME!!!! They are just like PS2 graphics and I was amazed when I saw this game. You choose a car and you can tune it out with visual and preformence upgrades. You can own up to 20 cars and four bonus cars so there’s a lot of cars to choose from. There are also many new game modes. All the modes include: Drag, Drift, Street X (off road racing), Circuit, Lap Knockout, Rally Race (race with two different cars), and a mode where you race a random tricked out car.The last thing to say about this gam,e is the soundtrack, it’s AWESOME!!! They are songs from Need for Speed: Underground 1 and 2 plus new songs. Some of the artists include: Spiderbait, Skindred, My Chemical Romance, Xzibit, Snoop Dogg and The Doors, Chingy, and a lot more. There are also some music videos to watch. This game is a very fun game and a very easy game to learn how to play so I recommend it for new PSP players and racing fans. This game is a lot of fun but some people might want to rent it before they buy it (gamefly.com *Please Refer Me).

Very easy to work with. The game wouldn’t read in my sons psp and they were very quick to respond and take care of the issue.

I received a PSP and this game for my birthday, so this is my only PSP game so far. I must say though, this game is very addictive! It’s relatively easy to control without a steering wheel, and if you got the lines right it’s pretty easy to win. I’m used to more realistic simulators like GT4 with my Logitech GT4 wheel, but until GT4 PSP is released, I will be playing this game! :)Highly recommended, but be warned, it’s addictive, and will waste a lot of your time!! :)

While you may want to wait for Midnight Club PSP, (comes out 6/14), this game will appeal to a street racing fan or even maybe a casual racer. There are over 60 cars and graphics are very much like Juiced, a game for PS2. They have added 2 cars to this game and now have over 60 very different cars that you can fully customize. This game has a good career mode. One thing that was an improvement from NFSU2 on the consoles was all the extra driving around. For people who are new to NFS, in Underground 2, EA made you drive around the city to look for races mostly so they could show you all of the endorcements that the game got. Overall, this game is nearly identical to NFSU , but is in no way a port.
