You call yourself a gamer? But you don’t own a NES? Sure you may have an EMU but those suck compared to the real thing. To me if you want to be a true gamer, you need a real NES (or a NES-101 those are cool to and don’t fail as often but they are expansive). Here are three reasons why.1. Almost all of the classic Nintendo characters started here! Think about it. Mario, Link, Samaus, Megaman, and Kirby started here. With this system you can pick up a real copy of Super Mario Bros. or Gradius and go nuts and play them the way they were meant to be played.2. Will work on a modern HDTV. While this baby won’t have HDMI cables you can hook it up with AV cables or an RF cable. It is very easy to set up and unlike a Atari 2600 it wont require fiddling with to make it work.3. This is just a myriad of reasons… Easy to use controller. Don’t have room? This system is flat so you can stack another system or cable box on top of it. Have a buddy/sibling that you actually enjoy playing video games with? There are many great two player video games. Love RPG’s? This system is the granddaddy of em all. This system is the best system for platformers. Like to crack open and repair video game systems? This one is for you while there are many functional NES’s there are many broken ones out there.Technical specs via WikipediaFor its central processing unit (CPU), the NES uses an 8-bit microprocessor produced by Ricoh based on a MOS Technology 6502 core. It incorporates custom sound hardware and a.

I had the NES years ago when I was in school, but when I got the SNES, I gave away my NES, which years later I would regret doing so. I bought the NES and rcvd it today, and after hooking it up, I played some of the old games, and it sure brought back so many good memories. The NES is so simple to use as it is to set up. I love the simplicity of the controls! The game and game consoles out on the market today are so complicated (for me anyway) that makes me appreciate this system so much more. This time I won’t make the mistake of giving it away!

I got everything they said I would get. They even explained the condition it was in perfectly.( meaning they told me one controller like new and one with wear and tear) and that’s what I got. Both work just fine. Absolutely love having my childhood back to share with my kids.

Everyone looking at this listing knows what the Nintendo NES is, but what stands out for me from this purchase is the shop. I bought the NES for my husband for Christmas and I absolutely could not say more for the customer service of this shop. I would buy from her again and again because of how amazing she was with shipping and handling any issues that we had. She is AWESOME.

What else is there to say that already hasn’t been said? The 8-bit NES is and always will be one of the greatest systems ever put out. Its graphics may look dated to some, but solid gameplay was always the NES’s strongest quality, and so it truly stands the test of time amongst the newer next generation systems.[Instead of writing a regular review, I thought I’d make a list of all the best games on the system so that people new to the NES would know what to try out.(Any title with a series of #s such as ‘1-4’ indicates that there is more than one game of that title)]BEST NES GAMES (in no particular order):-Super Mario Bros. 1-3, Duck Hunt, Zelda 1-2, Metroid, Final Fantasy, Donkey Kong Classics, Contra, Super C, Castlevania 1-3, Mega Man 1-6, Double Dragon 1-3, Mike Tyson’s Punch Out, Ninja Gaiden 1-3, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1-3, 1942, 1943, Guerilla War, Shadowgate, Startropics 1-2, Sky Shark, Image Fight, Legendary Wings, Life Force, Monster Party, Milon’s Secret Castle, Strider, Journey To Silius, Blaster Master, Bomberman 1-3, Adventures Of Lolo 1-3, Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle, Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout, Tetris 1-2, Dr. Mario, Battle Toads, Battle Toads & Double Dragon, Guardian Legend, Kabuki Quantum Fighter, Faxanadu, Goonies II, Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales 1-2, Bionic Commando, Paperboy, Kung Fu, Fester’s Quest, Clash At Demonhead, Blades Of Steel, Excite Bike, Pro Wrestling, Adventures Of Dino Riki, Skate Or Die 1-2, Kirby’s Adventure, Bubble Bobble, River City Ra.
