Other than the 1.85 GB update, the game is not that bad. Could it be better? Sure, and so could every other game that comes out. The fact is if you want a good hockey game now this is your only choice until next year. Some of the cut scenes and music used after a goal in be a pro mode are starting to get old.

While this game is lacking in game modes and such, the gameplay that it does offer is pretty good. Graphically, it is a very nice game to look at in my opinion. The players and puck seem to move the way they are supposed to, and the skating seems to be more realistic. so far, gameplaywise the only issue I have is the commentary. As much as the new NBC broadcast gives the game a new feel, the commentary feels a bit lacking and dull at times. but not so much that it ruins the game. for me anyways.Unlike last year’s game, not every hit is a HUGE FLATTENING hit. you have to hit it at the right angle with some momentum to lay out another player. And when there is a big hit, there isn’t always a fight to follow like in 14.I am a bit upset about the lack of a winter classic and playoff modes, but there is supposed to be an update coming out that is going to add some features (at least I think I read that). But I do see how people are frustrated and upset. Personally, I think they should have pushed back the release so that these features were in the release version of the game. But that’s what happens when EA has the only hockey game available. creates a monopoly and we are forced to buy it if we want to play next en hockey.overall I give this game a 7/10. It does have a lot of potential, but needs some work to reach that. Hopefully updates soon will make this game what it could be. Until then, if you would be satisfied with just playing a few exhibition games for fun, I do recommen.

My son bought this with his birthday money. After reading the reviews I was paranoid that he was wasting his money. The reviews couldn’t have been more wrong!Very fun game, lot’s of modes. Gameplay is fantastic. I have zero complaints.
