In Ratchet and Clank, an evil race of aliens has used up the resources of their home planet. Now these evil beings are crisscrossing the galaxy stealing the best parts of other planets for their own use. You guide a dynamic duo known as Ratchet and Clank against these interstellar thieves. Ratchet, a space mechanic, and his robot friend, Clank, move from planet to planet using space-age gadgets, spaceships and robots in a quest to rid the galaxy of the Blarg. People listen up! This will be the greatest game you will ever play. The story line is funny, the graphics unbelievable, and don’t even get me started about all the cool weapons! You get to fight, shoot things, swim under water, race hoverboards, fly space fighters and solve puzzles all while saving the world. You could not spend your money more wisely. Once you beat the game the first time a whole level of Gold weapons opens up for you to go after. You’ll even actually be able to take some of this games weapons to the upcoming sequel. Buy it now so you can be ready R&C 2 when it is released in November. The Most fun my family has had playing games. It’s like an interactive movie the graphics are so good!!

Have you ever wanted to play a game both exciting and adventurous? This is a game for you. It is called Ratchet and Clank. Not only is it exciting and adventurous, it is action packed and full of explosions. You get weapons, gadgets, spaceships, and items. This game is about Ratchet (some kind of animal) who finds a robot that crashes to his home planet. The robot tells him that an evil alien named Drek is going to destroy every planet. He is going to do this by taking little sections from each planet and putting all the pieces together to make a new planet. That would cause the planet that he took the piece from to spin out of orbit and blow up when it hits the sun. Clank (the robot) is looking for a superhero named Captain Quark. Clank asked Ratchet if he would help. Ratchet decides to help. You go through many levels of excitement, color, and many planets. You get weapons along the way. Some are stronger than others. You get two to start out and they are the wrench and the bomb glove. You can get other weapons to like the blaster, pyrocipter, taunter, devastator, decoy glove, visibomb, glove of doom, waloper, drone device, and the best weapon is the R.Y.N.O. Some of the gadgets you can get are the swing shot, grind boots, magnet boots, helipack, thruster pack, hydro pack, trespasser, and the hydrodisplacer. You have to destroy a ton of aliens and other creatures. You can get a hover board and enter two races. You get bolts, gadgets, or items for winning. I would recommend.

I had taken a break from this genre for a long time becuase I was getting tired of the disappointment from games of the likes. I decided to take a break from FPS and take a chance on this title. WOW!!! Was I pleasently surprised. Not since Crash Bandicoot have I enjoyed a game of this nature… and lets face it…. this game is Crash Bandicoot with Firearms. Great lighthearted humor…. Great variety in maps…. Great variety in weapons…. Great variety in enemies…. Great Fun!!!! Some people have stated that the game is a little too easy… not so. It is approxamatly 18 hours long (double that if you want all the upgrades to the weapons) and I didnt find myself feeling stupid becuase I didnt know where to go next or how to solve incredibly hard puzzles like such games as the new mario’s, blinx, and starfox would have you doing. This game was challenging enough to keep me interested, but not so challenging that I got frustrated. If you like this style game…. but are tired of all the ill fated attempts to make this genra fun again…. be prepared to be very surprised with RATCHET AND CLANK. I highly recommend it to anyone who misses CRASH. Now… Im off to buy the sequel.

You get Ratchet and Clank for the PS2.At a time when games and gamers are taking themselves WAY too seriously, Ratchet and Clank is a breath of fresh air from Sony and Insomniac Studios. You are Ratchet. A humble cat (well he looks like a cat at least) living on a backwater planet scrounging for parts for your space ship. Suddenly a little robot falls from the sky. And before you can say another word the two of you are paired up on an adventure to find Captain Quark in order to save countless planets from the evil Chairman Drek. Sounds Silly? Well, it is! But that’s why Ratchet and Clank is so much fun. It never takes itself too seriously. It really does poke alot of good natured fun at alot of the classic video game cliche’s. The weapons have great names (the Pyracitor, Glove of Doom for instance) and are equally fun to use!The graphics on this game give you the feeling that it’s something out of a Saturday morning cartoon. And believe me that’s not a "bad thing". The worlds are incredibley well rendered and detailed. Large city scapes, buzzing traffic, huge buildings. There’s alot of detail here and the backgrounds aren’t just static. You get the sense that these worlds are going about their day to day business. There’s also alot of room to explore on th.
