Red Faction II
Red Faction II is a first-person shooter video game develop by Volition and publish by THQ for the PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox and Microsoft Windows. However, it is the sequel to Red Faction and the second installment of the Red Faction series.

Multiplayer
Red Faction II features local multiplayer. Deathmatch, Bagman, Arena (all available with either individual or team play), Capture the Flag. And “Regime” (an unlockable mode equivalent to Bagman) can be play across a selection of around 40 levels, each with destructible walls. Moreover, every game mode except Capture the Flag has the same stage set; Capture the Flag has another set of levels dedicate to it.
Also players can create their own bots. And bots, like the human players, are able to keep statistics pertaining to gameplay. But bots obtain more statistic points as they fight matches in multiplayer, which allows the player to upgrade their abilities as they are use. So, these statistics include Health, Damage, Agility, and Accuracy. Also there are two other stats pertaining to their gameplay: Camping Tendency and Aggressiveness.

Red Faction is definitely a game to buy for First Person Shooter fans. It has rich color and graphics, great sound, lots of awesome weapons, and a lot of levels. the controls are pretty easy to get use to, and can be changed at any time during the game. the color and graphics are very good for the time and the system. the sound is very well done, it makes you feel like you are more in to the level , or what ever situation you find yourself in. overall i would give it a 5 star rating, i am also a huge FPS (First Person Shooter) fan.Color: +++++Graphics: ++++Sound:+++++Gameplay: +++++Controls: ++++Overall: +++++

Red Faction 2 is the best FPS since Halo because of the willing to blow a hole in a wall and blow other people to pieces! This game has excellent multiplayer and story mode is a little short, but all in all it as close as you can get to Halo!

This is an excellent port of the Ps2 version and includes the cool geo-mod engine. but it falls short on gameplay, THERE ISN’T ENOUGH, it will only take you a few sittings to complete this game, but it does have upsides!The geo-mod engine, which was almost completely ignored in the first one is back and better, including several missions that require you to alter your surroundings.If you’re sick of Metroid Prime, give this a try, but try before you buy.

Red Faction 2 falis to disappoint. The single player is short, but fun. The GEO-MOD rocks, no question. My favorite thing is juat a plain old deathmatch. The guns are sick! The anti-personall rocks, and so does the nano and wasp. The $50 price tag is a bit much for a game that has been out for this long. Also dont let the "M" rating get in the way of FUN! GET THIS GAME

I bought this for my son because his previous copy was too scratched up to play any more. He loves this game, and he was very happy that I found another copy. He and his brother play it and love it. It is pretty violent, but my sons know that killing is not the right thing to do.

Since i really only have a Gamecube in my house’s disposal i might as well buy a few of the best fps’s to play with friends. this game really did the job! i have just about all other FPS’s on the gamecube, but this one feel’s the most real. I think this could be due to all the realistic enviornments like city streets. If you have ever played Unreal Tournament, it kind of like this game. Over 40 levels in multiplayer (after unlocking alot of them in single player), abut 30 character (also unlockable in single player), and about 5-7 game modes, you could never really get bored. dual wielding mechanics work like no other in this game. if you have both weapons in your hand, you shoot out of the left gun with L and the right gun with R, which i found very nice and immersive. i only give the game 4 stars because of the same color pattern throughout the entire game almost. its nearly just shades of brown, black, and a little red and blue dabbed here and there, making the game a little boring after playing for over 45 or so minutes. people say thats its a bad game because it has gritty graphics, but thats what makes the game feel a bit more hardcore- somewhat like the feeling you get playing Doom 64. i recommend buying it, but not for over $15.

I played the original Red Faction when it came out for PC a few years back and was excited to purchase Red Faction 2 when I got my Game Cube. This game is a high quality shooter with unique and interesting weapons, many of which have alternate modes of fire and special abilities. Classic weapons such as shotguns, rifles, machine guns and pistols are available as well as more heavy duty specialty weapons such as the Wasp, which shoots a spray of explosive jelly blobs, the NCW, with its grenade launcher or the Rail Gun, which can shoot a laser beam through walls at opponents. One of the best things about this game is that the levels are uniquely detailed and players can interact with and destroy the environment, uncovering secret passages or blowing out bridges etc. Many powerups and other items are also available in game. The single player game is quite entertaining, though a bit difficult.The real strength of this game and what my friends and I really love about it, is the Multiplayer function which supports up to 4 players in customizable battles. Deathmatches, Capture the Flag and Team Arenas are some available multiplayer options.
