Best resident evil game yet. I loved 4 and 5. For some reason, I skipped 6 and then I saw this. I finished the campaign on casual mode so that I could unlock all raid mode levels. Now, I spend most of my time on the game playing raid mode with my son and it’s an absolute blast. The funnest game I’ve played in years… Probably cuz I’m doing it with my son (who’s 9 btw). Why do I say this?? The campaign is single player while raid mode is multi player. The story line isn’t too bad. Another psycho infection that u have to cleanse… What I like about the gameplay is this. It plays much like resident evil 5 but it allows u to move as u shoot. U can strafe and walk backwards or forwards. In raid mode, I wish u could run faster when u want to and I wish that weapons had some more upgrade options. U have to either buy a new weapon or earn a weapon thru gameplay. U can’t find a love and upgrade that weapon so it follows u thru the game. At least not until u unlock abyss mode.Campaign is much the same except u have to earn Ur weapons thru gameplay. The only real upgrades in campaign are mods that u find during gameplay.Overall though, it’s still the most fun of the ones I’ve played. I’m still playing it cuz I’ve made it to abyss mode in raid and it’s one Helluva challenge to get thru.Have fun everyone. I’m having a blast. Oh, if u can believe this, I’m leaving Destiny on my shelf as I continue playing this. Like I said, I love it cuz I play it with my son.

Good game, however it involves a lot of back backtracking, a story thats lacking a little, and an annoying boss who kinda looks like Walter White from "Breaking Bad"

Very good. Was happy to play this after disappointment that was Resident Evil 6. This is much more "Resident Evil 4" style of play, if not the dark wonderful atmosphere of 4. Worth multiple playthrough s.

OVERVIEW:I’ve been playing the Resident Evil games since the very first installment was released, and thoroughly enjoyed most of the original entries. When 5 came out, I still enjoyed it, but found the original formula that made Resident Evil great in the first place to be somewhat absent. This was further the case with Resident Evil 6. I’m pleased to say that Revelations abandons many of the elements present in the other newer entries (co-op play, brightly lit environments, action oriented gameplay) in the name of delivering a more intense, suspenseful, and sometimes scary gaming experience, very much in the vein of the original series entries. Be warned, though – if you’ve grown up with nothing but the more recent entries (4 – 6), be prepared for a very challenging experience!THE GOOD:- Jill Valentine returns as a primary playable character in this entry, along with Chris and a variety of new characters.- Great environments, primarily set on an abandoned cruise ship, with an excellent creepy soundtrack- Single player story mode, although there is a multiplayer "raid mode" available as well- Cool new enemies, no more mobs of "guys with weapons" chasing you down- Controls easy to grasp, similar to control scheme in other recent installments- Very limited ammo and health, similar to the original Resident EvilTHE BAD:- No laser sight option, aiming is accomplished via a crosshair (may not bother other players)- Some rather annoying supporting characters, possibl.

    One of my fave

    Love this game only :)

  7. Leonel Hernandez

Great game, lacks of the graphical beauty of RE 5 & 6, but understandable for a game adapted from portable platforms. However, it’s a title that deserves a high ranking due to it’s great playability and atmosphere that resembles the original Resident Evil 3 or less Survival Horror games, but keeping the evolved control mechanics of the modern Resident Evil 4 or more Action Games. A real masterpiece that must be among the catalogue of every RE fan.

    As expected

This game is so nice. I played it with the lights off and the sounds are scary alone. The enemies are numerous and lethal and when you run low on ammo, it actually means something. The story is intricate and full of twists and turns. This is what Resident Evil should be.
