There isn’t even words to describe the way it changed the gaming community…… The super NES or the SNES, made its premiere in 1991 with a 16 bit game console at least 10x better than the sega genesis……. The games were, and still are unbelievably hard and fun…… I strogly believe that anyone who is buying or who owns an SNES truly knows how to play video games. Most games today are very life-like but are not as fun to play as the SNES. Lets face it, we all know that the games today are incredibly easy and pointless because of the fact that if you can’t beat the game, there’s always a cheat to make it easier. If you want to play a game that actually has a challange to it, and you will never be able to put down the controller….. The Super Nintendo SNES System.This is an amazing piece of technology from the 90’s that has defined the way I look at life. It set my values and built my character as to what type of a gamer I am. It also thought me many valuable lessons about getting through in life. It thought me about perseverance, dedication, and hard work. Perseverance when trying time after time every time I hit a game over, Dedication when trying to learn all the secrets and all the combos in a game, and Hard Work when trying to get the system to work right… Kids now a day won’t feel the joy of the magical world of 16 bit. They are too focused on high end graphics and cinematic effects that many times in no way contribute to the game play and are just there for the sole purpose of being filler material. I remember it like it was yesterday, I had just turned 4 years old. My older brother handed me a machine…a system that I had no idea what it was…but it seemed awesome. Static ran through the TV, all you could hear was the sound it made. My brother plugged it in and got it all ready to go. As he shifted the power button, the screen grew dark followed by a coin noise. Animations started running through the TV of Mario Bros. running and hitting a turtle with the title Super Mario World in different colors. I had never touched, let at least seen such magic before.
