I love this game. I used to love to camp and snipe in COD, but in Black ops, there is no way to be a true sniper, so this game fills that want for me. It is a pure camp, snipe, run, and hide game that defines sniper warfare. It lacks in certain aspects which i’ve probably just been spoiled from COD such as customization of classes. Overall it is a great game online and has an alright campaign, and i would buy it again.

I’ve seen some low ratings in the reviews. Seems they are based on an older game for the most part. I never played the other games so I’ve got a first “new eyes” on this type of game. Being the solo kind of person, I had a blast playing this. It does require patience, and exacting movement at times. If you are aren’t that type of player, it’s probably not for you. This is the most realistic sniper style game on the Xbox 360 that I have seen. If you visits sites like and then I’m sure you will enjoy this game.The only thing I fear is that they will not create a follow-up game. I’d love more missions or even downloadable content. Hopefully it sold enough to get the backing to make another and better one.The bullet flights were great too. When you line up that perfect long shot and you get to follow the bullet along the way to the hit, that is just a satisfying feeling! I’ve been playing Fallout: New Vegas and noticed once you get a certain perk you get the same kind of thing, good stuff.

I’ve always enjoyed sniper activities in other games (Mass Effect, Gears of War, Modern Warfare, etc) so I’d been interested for a while in trying a game dedicated to snipers. The good news is this game *almost* delivers that.The good:My first few tries on this game were frustrating as this turned out to be much harder than I anticipated. What I had to learn was better stealth and patience, which are aspects I really enjoy, so that turned out to be a plus. I really enjoyed the sniping mechanics: breath control, zooming, and the "slow down" feature were great. The cut scenes of sniping shots were also very good, just not enough of them.The bad:My biggest criticism of this game is it felt like Modern Warfare. The style, controls, game play, mission openers, everything felt kind of like a rehash of MW. You play multiple characters at different times, and I was annoyed when I had to play the character who was not a sniper: it just got in the way of why I wanted to play this game in the first place. There is a distinct lack of control guidance, so some controls you just have to figure out. I also really hate the way the rappelling was implemented.From the four stars, you can see that IMHO the good overcomes the bad by a lot. I’ll definitely play this game again, and I’ll be buying the sequel in the near future.
