Great sounding headset for gaming or just listen to music. A friend of mine that I play destiny 2 with on pc recommended these and I am not disappointed. Best sounding headset I have owned to date. Mic quality is very good as well.

Son says these are great sounding headphones. He does the video game thing. We had a problem with when you would insert the microphone jack, the left ear would mute. We sent them back to Sennheiser and they quickly replaced them. The new ones work perfectly. I would recommend this product.

I did a lot of research on headphones went through the hyper x line up lc sounds and a few other and these where the most comfortable ones and Convenient one I could find I don’t like how the volume knob turns down all sound but it’s not a big deal the cord is a little touchy and make noise when I bump it or am playing and can be heard through game chat. Only downside to these headphones is say.

Amazing! I know sennheiser is a high quality company, but these surprised me. The build qaulity is very good. It is made out of flexible and durable plastic with metal where it counts. The speakers are crystal clear, loud, and the binaural sound feature is much better quality than 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound headphones. The microphone is noise cancelling which makes it pick up only your voice. It doesn’t cut in and out and it picks all types of voice inflection and your voice sounds normal and clear, not like most where you sound nasally, quiet, or has an echo. Finally, the collapsing feature is compact and thin, great for taking on a flight.

So there are a couple things that are really nice about this headset that I was looking for when purchasing.First is that they are closed style which allows less sound to come in and may let you feel more immersed in the game. The earcups fit great, are made of leather (which is my preferred material for these things), but on the downside they do trap a fair amount of heat and require the occasional "venting" and you will hear the cord in the left earpiece if you happen to rub it which can be fairly annoying at times. The cord itself is thankfully replaceable now, glad Sennheiser decided to update the design in this regard.Second is a great mic which does a good job of cancelling background noise if you live in a noisy house. The mic isn’t detachable which isdisappointing but it does mute when you fold it up and clicks when it does. It sounds good as well, about as good as it gets for a small boom mic like this.Lastly is sound quality, which overall does sound a bit hollow (coming from the proud owner of a pair of HD 598s, which are phenomenal) but it excels in gameplay. It’s much easier to hear things like footsteps and enemy fire in FPS games for example and that seems like the most important aspect of a "gaming" headset. I would recommend pairing this with a good speaker set or sound card that will power this guy up properly to get the most out of them.Other things worth nothing is that they clamp securely (but not too tight), are extremely good for long ho.

I’m really glad that Sennheiser got into the gaming headset market because I’ve had a lot of bad experiences in the past with “gamer brand” products. The audio quality is superb. Especially when paired with my headphone amp. The mic is also good for a headset style mic and cancels out a decent amount of background noises such as an air conditioner. The memory foam ear pads have a good seal around my ears and feel comfortable after wearing them for an extended period of time. One caveat I have with the headset is the wire which became quite stiff in some areas due to the wire being twisted over time. There is an extra cable provided and I haven’t had to use it since I’ve owned this headset for 6 months or so.

Best headset for gaming that I’ve ever used. I use it on my pc and my ps4 with no issues. The travel case it comes in is something I didn’t know I needed. Only headset I’ve bought that has been worth the price

I’ve used a lot of headphones for music to listen for casual enjoyment and for when I drum. So I typically have certain things I listen for, these drew me in because one of my favorite headphones I have are sennheiser’s. I’ve also tried out a couple of headsets but these have been my favorite. I use these on the PS4 and the biggest issue is the impedance. It’s too high for the controller to bring out enough volume. However, I use these with the Astro mix amp and the sound is outstanding. Not only that but the mic is also great, I’ve used it to listen to myself in comparison with some PlayStation headphones I have as long as some hyperX headphones as well as asking my friends what sounds best. These have the best combo of headphones and mic of what I’ve tried. They are also pretty comfortable but can get a bit warm on your ears. I dig the look, the muting system is great as far as just moving the mic up. Overall, for console players, just make sure you get some type of amp to get the full potential out of these, it can get pricy but if your looking for some of the best sound you can get I believe it’s worth the price.

Bought these for my son for his bday and he absolutely loves them! I hate spending this much money but if it’s quality then I don’t mind doing so. My son says they are awesome clear and the best he has had so far.

I bought these in December of 2016. This is my one year review. I use these daily.-Sound quality is really good.-Lightweight and comfortable.-My head does not get warm from wearing these, even in the summer.-Microphone is very well made. One warning is that a replacement cable seems to be hard to find. If you know where to get one, let me know. Mine is still in great condition, but I would like to keep these for as long as I can. The first thing to go will be the cord, because I am rough on it. The second part to go would probably be the microphone because I constantly move it up and down for mute. Surprisingly the boom has not become loose. I would say overall the quality of this headset still feels and sounds like the first day I took it out of the box.
