I bought Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force about a year ago, and I still play it every now and then. To put it simply, Elite Force is just one of those games you can really get into and have a lot of fun playing. For starters, it sets itself even with the competition with standard features that every FPS should (but sometimes dont) have, such as instant save, completely customizable controls, etc…The graphics, while not top notch, are still running off the tried and true Quake III engine and add to the excitement of the game. Character models are decent but to be honest, graphics are not my main interest. Generally, I care about the gameplay (or lack of) and Elite Force has plenty of fast-paced exciting action. You start off immediately in the middle of a mission inside a Borg cube and the gameplay takes off from there. There are plenty of weapons, each with a secondary fire to choose from and the environments are extremely fun to fight in (my favorite is running through the halls and cargo bays of Voyager). In hostile territory the battles are fast and furious, requiring good choice in your combat skills. Little things like the mini-Holomatches or the occasional non-violent assignment make the game enjoyable.Another awesome option is the Holomatch, which also has the same fast-paced fighting in the game, against not-so-terrible bots too. Again, the maps are well-designed and the weapons are awesome. Finally, I think any aficionado of FPS’s would definitely like this gam.

Having loved the series Voyager I was expecting something different from this game. Now that the series is over I can still enjoy it in this simulation game. The graphics are great and the special sound effects and visuals are stunning. Still the people look a little mechanical (unreal), but the PIXAR technology is still a few years away to be put in out homes as of yet.The action is believable, the training is semi real and the charcaters are interactive. Seeing the ship is very cool as well. The younger people seem to like the color and interactivity of it.This is a good game to have!

Wow! I’m very impressed! Many Star Trek games don’t quite cut it, but this and Klingon Academy are top notch! The storyline is good, the missions are challenging but not impossible (some were very difficult until I got the strategy guide), and the graphics and sounds are excellent. The engine models faces much better than I expected. But the sounds are fantastic. I love to put my headphones on in the holomatch and crank it up fullblast so I can hear every detail. The multiplayer maps are fun; some are quite complex and take time to learn the in’s and out’s. All in all, a great game!

Funnest game in my entire life. It was my childhood. I would more than recommend getting it, along with the expansion pack.

The people at Raven did an excellent job with this game. It utilizes the Quake III engine, thus the graphics are superb. It offers both a single player, story line, gaming experience (which Quake III is lacking) and a Deathmatch/tournament, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag game play like Quake III. It is like having two games in one, and as a matter of fact, the game puts two icons on your desktop to separate the two types of games. As mod/map/model makers get geared up on this title, there should be some very interesting things you can add to the basic version. In fact, there are a handfull of new maps already available. Moreover, there are many internet servers running this game so you can indulge in internet play. The weapons are pretty cool, each has a secondary fire mode, but too many are difficult to use well in the heat of the fire fight, and require you to be on target. Not enough of the weapons cause collateral damage. I actually like this title better than Quake III.

I can’t wait till this game comes out. I’m glad a Voyager game has finally come out. I will be buying this game when the price drops down a few bucks. I hope this game is good.

I first read a review about this game and found out that it used the quake 3 engine so when i got the chance i downloaded the 115 meg demo. it was worth the 7 hours. this game is sooo much better then any other star trek game. in my opinion its better the any FPS game i ever played including Quake 3 and unreal tornament. i loved this game becouse you can fight the borg interact with the crew do things that will change the outcome of the game and the last one wich i love the most is that u can almost full explore voyager itself every room is made to mach the show its vary detailed. once i get the money i am preordering it becouse its a game wich i just have to have. PLUS it also got a Quake three multiplayer game wich has all the featurs of quake three. i just cant see aything wrong with this game if u are not a star trek fan and like FPS u should still buy this game beouse its so good from a scale from 1 to 100 i would give it a 99.9 i did not give it a perfect score becouse sevon of nine does not do her charectors voice. ow and if Quake 3 runs well on your computer so will this game i recomend a 350 with 3d card (althought it wont work with a voodoo2 dont know y) and 96 or 128 megs pc 100 ram. and if the game fumps there is a vary helpfull video configer wih can help stop the game from jumping by sacrificing some nice effects i found this vary convinent.

What I saw when I played the demo was amazing! The graphics were amazing and the models are so very accurate. In the demo you get to fight the Borg on a cube and try to rescue some teammates. The AI is very smart and acts the way it’s supposed to…like the Borg don’t attack you unless they consider you a threat. I’m going to get this game the moment it comes out. I suggest that action fans and Star Trek fans get this game…it’ll be worth your money.
