Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike is an action video game developed by Factor 5 and published by LucasArts for the GameCube. The game is set during the original Star Wars trilogy and recreates battles that take place during those films. And the game follows the Rogue Squadron, which, under the command of Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles. And uses starfighters to engage and defeat the Galactic Empire.
However, Rebel Strike was developed as a sequel to Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. Also Rebel Strike added the ability for players to leave their starfighters to participate in ground battles. As well as enter and pilot other vehicles during certain missions. Also the game has a two-player multiplayer mode allowing cooperative play for all but two missions from Rogue Leader.
Gameplay
Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike features gameplay in ground vehicles and on foot, a first for the series.
Moreover, in Rebel Strike the player controls several Star Wars vehicles such as the X-wing and AT-ST across missions that span the movies and moments outside the films. Also it contains on-foot missions in addition to the space battle missions found in the previous Rogue Squadron series games. Also the game includes some unlockable classic missions inspired by the Star Wars original trilogy.
The game also features two multiplayer modes: Co-op and Versus. Co-op allows players to replay missions from Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader in split-screen, excluding the levels Triumph of the Empire and Revenge on Yavin. But in Co-op, players share the same pool of lives. And versus features a variety of modes, such as Dogfight and Survival. In any Versus mode, players can pilot several craft, including X-Wings, A-Wings, TIE Fighters, and Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced.

Well, I’ve waited for a long time for the next installment to come out. The only reason i bought gamecube was for RS2, but from wut it looks like, RS3’s graphics kick …, there r more options, and theres a multiplayer function. It looks to be one of the best games Gamecube has had in……ever!

This game is good.It follows the three Star Wars movies.It is almost the same as Rouge Leader,Butit is still awsome.This time,You’re on the ground and in the air/space.You have multiplayer with this game,Something new for the Rogue Squadrons.You fly mainly the same ships as in Rogue Leader.It has great graphics.Well that says it,this game is cool,but not as cool as Rogue Leader.

If you like the original three Star Wars movies, than this game is for you. Even if you havent seen them, this game is still awsome. There are a lot of levels that take place in the movies like Hoth, the speeder bikes from Endor, and you can even go to Yoda’s lagoon for Jedi training. If you do well enough on a mission you can either get a bronze, silver, gold medal. But sometimes you don’t get any medals. You get points for getting medals, and you can unlock missions with the points.A lot of people complain about the on-foot missions. They arent good but they’re not bad. I got through them with some camera problems but it doesn’t really take away too much from the game.It is cool to go on the speeder-bikes but they are really hard because one little mistake and you will hit a tree or something, but they are still my favorite levels.For a bonus they have all the levels from Rogue Squadron II in a co-op mode. This is really fun if you have a friend around to play them with.Overall this is one of my favorite games on my Gamecube and for this low price, you can’t beat it.

I loved the movies when i was a kid and enjoyed all the games that have been made and this ones my favorite for the game cube along with the second rogue squadron and Bounty Hunter(Jango Fett)a solid title 10 out of 10!

The graphics and sound effects and gameplay are pretty good on this game although it is starting to feel dated now it is still good entertainment and worth buying if you are a Star Wars Fan you will enjoy it all the more.

star wars rogue squadron 3 is one of the best gamecube games ever made the games graphics are amazing it looks like a movie and it even has better graphics than some xbox 360 games i love the rogue squadron games and this is the best game in the series its great that they added the on foot missions they are very fun and they are great the replay value is great on this game the game never gets borring this is a must have game for the gamecube
