OMG this game is super great!! get it if you are a FF fan!

I bought the original game and had lots of fun with it, but once I saw that Curtain Call came out, I decided I needed all these new songs, and was not disappointed at all. I’ve also bought tons of DLC songs of some of my favorite games like Chrono Trigger, NieR and even Xenogears (I did get teary eyed when I noticed Soaring was there). There are different playing modes, even online versus and lots of unlockable content, so you won’t really get bored at all, specially with a catalog that has more than 200 songs. The price for DLC songs is very affordable, and worth it, in my opinion ($0.99); there are also some DLC characters as well.So if you love music and rhythm games, the Final Fantasy series and even other Square Enix titles, this is the game for you. It’s been 2 years and a half since the first game come out, and I still play Theatrhythm casually to this day.

I love this game i play it all the time. I do feel like it makes the first one obsolete and i bought a handful of songs for the first one. This one feels more like an expansion then a sequal. I would love for them to have added a life bar for the enemies because in multiple occasions there are times you have to reach a crrtain boss and i dont know if im doing enough damage, im left guessing. I also think that theres not enough distinct differences for each character other than how they look to warrant buying them for DLC. I suggest just buying the music and the inclusion of music outside the FF series realm is quite nice. Overall a great game to pass time.

This is a great game especially if you like music. All the worlds consists of challenges and it’s fairly easy if you play to the beat of the music. If you strike the enemies in step with the music you’re sure to get through fast..As you get further into the game, the tunes get difficult and the beats more complex making the game more fun. I love the game. I think it’s good for kids and adults as well.

This is a rhythm game that is pretty fun, but, I really like Square games so I’m probably heavily biased (my favorite songs are from FF6). This game is even better with headphones as I do even better with those on and I can hear all the music much better.

  6. Time for Ink

Speaking as a hardcore music game fan and classical pianist, this is one of my favorite music games ever. The timing feels natural and NOT RUSHED (HOORAY), which is usually a huge problem in lots of music games. Theatrhythm is done so nicely, it actually feels like you’re performing the songs when you get into it enough. My favorites are in FF9.

The product itself came in perfect condition and I was thrilled to see how nice it was kept. As for the gameplay, it’s very fun and filled with tons of songs from my favorite games that make me feel nostalgic. The wide selection and exciting levels will keep me busy for a while.

This game hasn’t left my 3DS since I got it. It is so much fun combining rhythm gaming and 4 character partys that you create. The unlockable content keeps me coming back with adventure mode and character ability customizations. It even includes intro cut scenes for almost all the FF games. I also love perfecting my timing to kill monsters and unleash summons. I found this game to be relaxing and also intense depending on the play style and difficulty you choose. One handed mode is a fun new challenging way to play and pushes your skills. If you’re a ff fan just stop reading and buy it already! ^_^

This game is an amazing amount of fun, especially if you like Elite Beat Agents or Dance Dance Revolution. The music of Final Fantasy is given a chance to shine here, and most of it is extremely enjoyable.Gameplay: I am most comfortable on the Basic difficulty level. I got some exposure to harder difficulty in the Quest Medley mode. That helped me to refine my timing, but the overall experience on the harder difficulties is much more stressful. Basic is the best way to just enjoy the music and tap and slide along to it at a comfortable pace. There are so many characters, items, and RPG elements included in the game, but I am not sure what most of them do. There is so much to do just in playing all the songs and modes that I have not hit bottom yet of all the options. It is fun to unlock the trophies in this game. Some will just happen naturally, while others you can figure out from the hints on the trophy records page. This game is a love letter to Final Fantasy and its music, and it is one of the 20 best 3DS games.

For any fan of the Final Fantasy series’ soundtracks, this game is a no-brainer. There are hundreds of songs from all games in the series and revisiting them is a joy…until you try Ultimate difficulty that is! That’s the one thing I found infuriating–some of the Ultimate stages are doable but others are so absurd I just wanted to impale my 3DS with the stylus. Still, it’s a great value for the amount of content you get.
