I want everyone to beware that if you have the GunCon and want to use it, the game doesn’t like it when you play and use the GunCon on a flat screen TV. That isn’t about this though, and I knew that buying the game. My copy was in perfect condition despite getting the cheapest copy on here.
Classic game! Played with Guncon and a 120 inch projector and had a blast! recommended for the nostalgic arcade players.
This is the best game i’ve ever played but you have to have the gun
First of all, a lot of people are wondering, if the original Guncon will work on Time Crisis 2. The answer is YES. You can use the original Guncon for Time Crisis 2. You don’t really need the Guncon 2.However, Guncon 2 offers more buttons, such as the following buttons:- Start- Select- Thumbcon (direction pad)- C buttonI am not sure what these extra buttons for except the Start and Select. I haven’t played the game long enough to tell.The new Guncon 2 is more accurate than the original Guncon. However, I prefer the original Guncon more because:1. Guncon 2 is made with cheap orange plastic. It does not have the same solid feeling as the original one2. the A button is located right above the trigger, which makes it more difficult to hold the gun (maybe I am used to the old way of holding the gun.Besides the two points above, it is a good gun.The game is excellent. The graphic is much nicer than the previous Time Crisis (ok, it is PS2 vs PSone). The cool thing is, the system can distinguish where the person is shot, so that the person responds differently. For example, if you shoot someone in the leg, they will fall down with their hands cover their leg, or fall down with one leg. The game is also much more exciting, more actions. From ground, to boat, to train. This game also has more game modes:1. Arcade – One Player: Just like the traditional Time Crisis2. Arcade – Two Player: You and your friend partner each other. It is really cool. However, the split screen (side-by-side).
It is very unfortunate that there are so few shooters out there on the modern video game platforms. Things have progressed a lot from the days of Duck Hunt, but I am pleased with the results.Time Crisis 2 is a great game. It is a lot like being in an interactive cop movie, and you get to shoot the bad guys. The graphics are pretty good, although not the top PS2 graphics by any means. The AI is weak, but it doesn’t matter because you don’t have time to try and outthink the enemies. It’s a great game to just pop in the console and play for a while if you don’t want to have to think.The Guncon 2 itself is sort of bleah to me. As someone who likes using guns in real life, I prefer something a little heavier than the Guncon 2 gives me. I end up overcompensating for the weight because I am used to real guns. So the Guncon looks a lot like that rope gun Batman used in the Michael Keaton version of the Batman movie, I don’t care because it is functional. I may end up buying another light gun soon, so I can play the game with a gun in each hand.I’ll shut up now, and just tell you to go get the game. Unless you are expecting a deep, thoughtful, Final Fantasy type experience, you will not be dissapointed.
When I plyed this game in the arcade I thought I had to get this for Christmas. The action and the adventure in the game just made the first time crisis a goldfish. I thought this game was the BEST!!…
I think that on this website you should be able to buy the guns with the actual game as i don’t no were to get them

Let me say this first: you HAVE to have a GunCon to fully enjoy the game. That said…I kicked and screamed when this game was brought into our household by my brothers. In theory, we don’t buy violent games. However, I picked up the GunCon one day and ended up spending the next 6 hours beating it! It is sooo addictive and absolutely great!!! I’ve been converted!One small bone to pick: really contrived plot that’s also amazingly short. That said, though, this game rocks!
If you’ve got a PS2, Gun con and a big new TV and you like shooting games then you can’t say no to this, Time Crises 2 is still enjoyable on any size TV. I must of spent like £100 in the arcades on this so if your new to the series get it on PS2 because the graphics are improved and there is a challenge mode that is harder than Arcade mode such as having to take out a guy in a moving train with 1 bullet and you get to meet Richard Miller from the original Time crises.Two player CO UP is very good, imagine being on speed boats and you get to see your friend opposite you in another speed boat shooting the enimies, CO UP is best exsperienced on system lynk not split screen.

This game is the shooting game of all shooting games. The arcade mode contains the same version as in the arcades, but with repeated play, there are numerous "secret" options to obtain. Different guns, and "views." Along with the arcade mode, there are many ways to play it: 1player, 2player(split screen), double gun(1player or 2players)sharing one screen and character, or i-link. Aside from the arcade mode, there are many about 50 different miny-games as well. There’s Agent Trainer with different targets and movements, Quick and Crash, a basic aiming game, Shoot Away 2, a quick pased try at Clay Pidgeon shooting, retro style and special style, and Crisis Mission. In this mode, you play your way through numerous "days" each containing about 5-7 missions in each. These missions are sometimes very difficult, and quite challengeing, something you should look for in a shooter game. If its too easy, then there’s no challenge, and the game can be conquered in less that a day. Through all these options and different ways of game-play, I can’t see how you could possibly pass this game up; it even comes with it’s own gun! There’s no need to buy one to play, you could possibly buy the first gun to play two players but it isnt even necessary. I was somewhat dissapointed in the first game, and this is the game i hoped for: IT DELIVERS!

Just got this game yesterday. Easy to hook up the GunCon. The gameplay is awesome, the graphics are great. Duck and reload just like in the arcade game. Headsots get you more bonus points!And as an added bonus, the disc is packed with extra shooting games like skeet shooting and target practice. 5 levels of difficulty give you lots of flexibility. If you liked the arcade game, get this game for your PS2! The only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating is the repetitive gameplay. Your hand cramps up in like 10 minutes from shooting…but ultimately, you don’t care becasue the game is too cool.

THE SEQUEL TO ONE OF THE GREATEST GAMES EVER MADE! This game comes equipped with a Guncon 2 (The most advanced light gun controller available), even backwards compatible with the Guncon. Featuring the action of a John Woo film and the music straight out of a Jerry Bruckheimer movie comes Time Crisis 2. You feel like your watching a DVD movie when you boot this game up and navigate your way through all the menus and extra features this game has. This game is bad to the bone. Not only is this one of the greatest games ever, but it is one of the best two-player co-op games ever. I quote “Two-player light-gun action has never been this fast and furious.” The sheer amount of fun that is this game is just about unmatched in every way by every other two-player action game out there. The Replay value on this game is super high. It has lots of extra and special features that will keep you busy for a while. There’s a one-player double-gun mode on this game that is just the coolest, armed with two guns you play through the story mode like Chow Yun-Fat taking out guys in rapid fire. This still is the closest playing game to a John Woo movie ever! The graphics are down right impressive, exceeding the arcades in any way you can name. The stages are about the most innovative you will ever see in a game. Example in stage 1 area 3 you and your partner are on two seperate speed boats in a canal chasing down the leader’s right hand man in his cruiser, while fighting of henchmen on speed boats j.

This is the most fun game if you do have the Guncon. However, the Guncon does not come with this, so it sucks. If you want to buy it here I suggest either borrowing a Guncon from one of your friends or buying one (…)
