I want everyone to beware that if you have the GunCon and want to use it, the game doesn’t like it when you play and use the GunCon on a flat screen TV. That isn’t about this though, and I knew that buying the game. My copy was in perfect condition despite getting the cheapest copy on here.
Classic game! Played with Guncon and a 120 inch projector and had a blast! recommended for the nostalgic arcade players.
This is the best game i’ve ever played but you have to have the gun
First of all, a lot of people are wondering, if the original Guncon will work on Time Crisis 2. The answer is YES. You can use the original Guncon for Time Crisis 2. You don’t really need the Guncon 2.However, Guncon 2 offers more buttons, such as the following buttons:- Start- Select- Thumbcon (direction pad)- C buttonI am not sure what these extra buttons for except the Start and Select. I haven’t played the game long enough to tell.The new Guncon 2 is more accurate than the original Guncon. However, I prefer the original Guncon more because:1. Guncon 2 is made with cheap orange plastic. It does not have the same solid feeling as the original one2. the A button is located right above the trigger, which makes it more difficult to hold the gun (maybe I am used to the old way of holding the gun.Besides the two points above, it is a good gun.The game is excellent. The graphic is much nicer than the previous Time Crisis (ok, it is PS2 vs PSone). The cool thing is, the system can distinguish where the person is shot, so that the person responds differently. For example, if you shoot someone in the leg, they will fall down with their hands cover their leg, or fall down with one leg. The game is also much more exciting, more actions. From ground, to boat, to train. This game also has more game modes:1. Arcade – One Player: Just like the traditional Time Crisis2. Arcade – Two Player: You and your friend partner each other. It is really cool. However, the split screen (side-by-side).
It is very unfortunate that there are so few shooters out there on the modern video game platforms. Things have progressed a lot from the days of Duck Hunt, but I am pleased with the results.Time Crisis 2 is a great game. It is a lot like being in an interactive cop movie, and you get to shoot the bad guys. The graphics are pretty good, although not the top PS2 graphics by any means. The AI is weak, but it doesn’t matter because you don’t have time to try and outthink the enemies. It’s a great game to just pop in the console and play for a while if you don’t want to have to think.The Guncon 2 itself is sort of bleah to me. As someone who likes using guns in real life, I prefer something a little heavier than the Guncon 2 gives me. I end up overcompensating for the weight because I am used to real guns. So the Guncon looks a lot like that rope gun Batman used in the Michael Keaton version of the Batman movie, I don’t care because it is functional. I may end up buying another light gun soon, so I can play the game with a gun in each hand.I’ll shut up now, and just tell you to go get the game. Unless you are expecting a deep, thoughtful, Final Fantasy type experience, you will not be dissapointed.
When I plyed this game in the arcade I thought I had to get this for Christmas. The action and the adventure in the game just made the first time crisis a goldfish. I thought this game was the BEST!!…
I think that on this website you should be able to buy the guns with the actual game as i don’t no were to get them

Let me say this first: you HAVE to have a GunCon to fully enjoy the game. That said…I kicked and screamed when this game was brought into our household by my brothers. In theory, we don’t buy violent games. However, I picked up the GunCon one day and ended up spending the next 6 hours beating it! It is sooo addictive and absolutely great!!! I’ve been converted!One small bone to pick: really contrived plot that’s also amazingly short. That said, though, this game rocks!
If you’ve got a PS2, Gun con and a big new TV and you like shooting games then you can’t say no to this, Time Crises 2 is still enjoyable on any size TV. I must of spent like £100 in the arcades on this so if your new to the series get it on PS2 because the graphics are improved and there is a challenge mode that is harder than Arcade mode such as having to take out a guy in a moving train with 1 bullet and you get to meet Richard Miller from the original Time crises.Two player CO UP is very good, imagine being on speed boats and you get to see your friend opposite you in another speed boat shooting the enimies, CO UP is best exsperienced on system lynk not split screen.

This game is cool i think robert baxter is the best good guy the best bad guy is wild dog if you see this game you should buy it however time crisis 3 is better.

first, you can use the old guncon but you might as well get the time crisis2/guncon2 package for just a little more… the guncon2 seems much more accurate, it’s got a direction pad on the heel (where the hammer would be on a gun) and an A and B button on either side of the gun. the start and pause buttons are both located on the left (sorry, lefties). note that the time crisis2/guncon2 only comes with a standard hook up with video and left and right audio rca plugs. if you are using S-video or component video you will need to get an adaptor… (and turn up the brightness/contrast on your TV to get the best response to your shots).the game itself is really fast paced… and you learn to use that duck button pretty quick to get out of the way of missiles. stages just from the first act have you in a motorboat with enemies motoring literially all around you (and you have to avoid hitting your partner). you really get a sense of 3-D movement as the game rotates your viewpoint from time to time. graphics look great and enemies react according to where they get shot (fall back if shot in the head, fall forward or to the side if shot on the leg… well animated and a nice touch).as noted by another viewer, you get rewarded for playing, the minimum being extra tokens to continue your game. the little extra games are great for target practicing and unlocking secret areas/games.if you’ve played the original Time Crisis, you’ll love this game for being better in everyway (well, the sto.

Absolutely great game. If life’s stressing you out, and you just want to vent, just plug in the gun and this game and start shooting the bad guys. Although story mode is relatively short and easy, the Crisis mission mode more than make up for it. In fact, Crisis Mission mode should have been the Main game instead of the Story Mode. It’s much more challanging, variety of skills, and longer. Much longer (32 missions at least). Great party game too if u have friends over. You unlock the Crisis mission mode by completing the Story Mode. Once you’ve unlock Crisis mode, it’s like a brand new game.

So as a fan of the TC series for awhile, i picked up this lil gem for about 10 bucks. was not disapointed. graphics are dated, but it gives you a fix of light gun action that the series is known for. if you have two light guns, dual gun mode is included and this game is a must. replay value is about average, how bored you get of the mmain story is your own cup of tea, but there is added minigames and so on. I reccomend this as a good buy for all ages.

This game is good but make sure you get the one with guncon2. This place doesnt say if it comes with the guncon2 or not but make sure that you get a copy that does. The guncon2 does work with big screen rear projection tvs. And the game is a total blast literally. So go get your self a copy.

Guncon2 works well, but with my big-screen, I have a hard time hitting guys in corners (unresponsive). I’m not sure if it is the angle I’m sitting at or what. I have to aim dead on and can’t angle up into the corners.Fun game though. You don’t have to think much and it is great for that. Will enjoy it for many months.

From the mightiest pharaoh to the lowliest peasant,who doesn’t enjoy a good light gun game?Top three reasons why this one is better than most:Time Crisis 2 rewards you for playing.Earn continues,credits,new games and more.Many arcade to home light gun titiles don’t give you squat.Mini games that look like they’ve come from the way cool point blank series.Of course the two player cooperative play.Forget about doing this game with the CPU.Grab a friend and play this disc the way it’s meant to be played.Seeing your partner on the screen working with you adds mucho fun to this style of game.

If you were a fan of the arcade game, then you must get this game. Make sure it comes bundled with the guncon.The gun is accurate and easy to set up. Everything you need comes with the game. For those of you, who are not familiar with the game, it might be too reperetive for you, so, not sure I would recommend this.

I thought this game was great. Its just like the real arcade game. The only thing wrong with it is the gun. THE GUN SUCKS!!! It has broken 3 times already. The plastic inside the gun is so fragile it breaks. Ive actually bought it 2 different times. I retured it for a new one but then that gun broke too. Its so frustrating
