Let me just start off saying that this game is one of the most addictive action games out to date! And I’d also say this is the best Light Gun to date next to the awesome Point Blank series. The game uses the excellent light gun "Guncon 2", which adds to the fun and addictveness of the game. You can now, in "Time Crisis 3", select between 4 diffrent weapons which adds even more to an already great game. Do yourself a favor, if you want an action game that uses a light gun instead of a controller, this should be your top pick! Althought the game is fairly short, there are many unlockables to get, and it is just plain fun to play over and over again. Get two Guncon 2’s and you’re in two player light gun shooting heaven! Just be sure to get two seperate TV’s and an i-link so you each can see what you’re shooting better. If you are a fan of Light Gun games, this game is above your expectations, but if you’re not a light gun gaming fan, this game might just change your mind! A must have in your PS2 collection with the Guncon 2!

HiI need help. I can’t get past level 2 to level 3 in time crisis 3. I beat the boss in level 2 with the ninjas he falls in between the cargo tanks. And it goes to game over.I know it’s 3 level to time crisis 3. But level 3 is shadedDo I need more lives or credits even though I beat the boss in level 2. How do I unlock level 3?

The time crisis series is in my opinion one of the most underated game series of all time. Sure its a little on the short side ( A day and you’ll have beaten the game throught once) but it has an enourmous amount of replay value. Not only is there the arcade mode but you can also unlock a variety of different crisis and timed missions not found at the arcade. Once you’ve unlocked and beaten all of the levels its time to replay them and beat your old times. The only negative is the split screen mode is hard to see your screen even with my 50 inch. Also if you have a projection screen or lcd tv save your money as the guncon does not work with those televisions and the games is only o.k without the guncons arcade experience.

Hey Azazel i think u never played time crisis & time crisis is the best shooting game next to Halo: Combat Evolved.

This is by far the best Guncon2 game for the PS2. The action is fast paced and the graphics are suburb. The story line is weak and boring, but that is not why most people play a shooting game anyways. The game its self is not terribly long, but no shooter really is. A good piece of advice would be to take it easy on the Guncon2 light-gun. Though they are very accurate they are also very fragile, remember squeeze the trigger don’t yank it. If you like shooting games you can not go wrong here. Some other decent Guncon2 games you might want to check out are “Vampire Night” and “Ninja Assault”. See You Space Cowboy.

BEST GAME EVER. tons of replayability, and console exclusive features packed in w/ the original arcade port. Only CON is multiplayer; there is arcade mode which you can ;play 2 player co op but the screen size of the split screen would be too small and loses its visual appeal but still plays great. taking turns in one player mode is more fun in my opinion but I may need a bigger screen. BEST GAME HANDS DOWN :)

Namco’s Time Crisis 3 is about as good as any arcade gun game ported to a home system can get. It’s fast paced, the graphics and music are sharp, and being able to duck behind obstacles/switch between 4 weapons gives it an innovative edge over other shooters of it’s type. The rescue missions unlocked after beating the game also provides an interesting diversion from the main mode. The light gun works fairly well: I’ve experimented with it on several different TVs, and the only problem I can detect is that aiming at objects in the upper and lower corners of the screen can be difficult at times. Unfortunately, the two player split-screen mode is a joke. The unusually small, squashed screens make it impossible to keep up with the action no matter what controller you use. If you want to get any enjoyment out of the two-player mode, you’ll have to play via link cable, which may be more trouble than it’s worth. Aside from those flaws, Time Crisis 3 is a formidable port of the arcade version and worth checking out for anyone looking for a solid gun game.

Okay, let me just start off by saying that this game ROCKS! If you are a fan of any Time Crisis game (And many people are), then I would get this game sooner than later.Gameplay: 5/5-The gameplay is fast, fun, and even better than the arcade version in that you can play a console-exclusave Rescue Mission mode (In which you carry out special missions in the Time Crisis storyline using new character Alice and a sniper rifle) and Crisis Mission mode (Which is kind of like Rescue Mission mode in that it’s console exclusive and it offers new missions). WARNING: THIS GAME CAN’T REALLY BE ENJOYED WITHOUT A GUNCON. IF YOU DON’T ALREADY HAVE ONE, THE PACKAGE OF TIME CRISIS 3 W/ GUNCON2 WORKS WELLGraphics: 4/5-The graphics in this game are top-notch. The only reason why it doesn’t get a 5/5 in my eyes is that sometimes people fall through walls when shot. That’s it. Other than that flaw, the physics are nice as people react properly when shot. If shot in the leg, the fall foward, and fall back if shot in the head. You get the idea.Multiplayer: 2/5-This is what killed the game. Unless you happen to have two PS2s and two TVs in the same room, don’t expect to get much out of multiplayer. In splitscreen, it’s hard to hit the enemies with a GUNCON and instead of dividing the screen in half, it creates two small boxes to play in that leaves half the screen space unused. Linked games are much more fun because you both get your own screen to look at and shoot.Replay Value: 3/5-You’ll play this.
