If you have gotten to season 5 you already know how good this show is. If this is your first season, stop now and start at the beginning. OMGosh! Was hesitant to watch because the more modern the more cursing and sexual content which is not for me.. Once I started watching I could not stop! On the edge of my seat could not get enough! I am a die hard NCIS fan and to date nothing had come close to that until I started watching Line of Duty! I love the plots twist and turns and they have you thinking one way then they change it on you! There is some cursing not as much as I expected and not a lot of sexual scenes which I am glad of…. Love Steve and Kate and Ted! I hope they keep writing excellent script for years to come! Writers, please let Kate work out her marriage, it would be good to see that in today’s society…. Can’t wait to see what Season 6 holds!!!!!!!

Binged all 5 Series and am awestruck at the writing. From Series 1, Episode 1 on through Series 5, Jed Mercurio weaves clues along the way telling a brilliant, gripping story. Clearly he had scripted the entire run of the program before filming ever began. It’s absolutely brilliant. Mercurio develops the three main protagonists characters so intricately you feel as though you’ll know their next step, but alas, they will surprise you. I’ve been raving about this program to all my friends and all are in agreement that this is the best thing out there. I rate this as significantly better than the Bodyguard which everyone loved. For me, in comparison to Line of Duty, the Bodyguard was “meh!” Watch all 5 seasons and you’ll thank me! BUT, pay attention. Don’t look away for even a moment cause something that was said or occurred in the very first episode, will have relevance in season 5. I’m chomping at the bit for Series 6!!

I really thought there would never be another police procedural as good as Prime Suspect, but this comes very close. Stuck in bed with a bad back, I binge watched all 5 seasons in 2 days. I just couldn’t stop.
