This is a really fun game. there are very few car combat games in psp namely burnout revenge, fired up (unfortunately only available in EU territory) and twisted metal : head on. I found both burnout revenge and twisted metal to really entertaining. the reasons to buy psp has increased because of these two games.

Twisted metal head on is a really good game for the PSP. If you have a PSP and dont have this game I would buy it right now. It was the first game I got for it and it was great. The gameplay is awesome. Its so smooth on the psp and the graphics are amazing for a portable. If you have never played twisted metal, it is a car demolition game but with rockets and machine guns and stuff. There are about 14 vehicles to be and also some secret characters. Each character has a different special move for the vehicle and also a different story of there life. The basic thing for the game is to get through 8 levels of demolitions of versing other characters in the game and when you win the final battle you get to see the story end to the characters. They wish for something from calypso because the thing is if you win you get one wish of anything. There are plenty of different rockets to get in the game. The music for the game is really good to. It goes really well with the gameplay and it never gets boring. There are a lot of characters so you wont beat the game in one day. The levels in the game are really good also, there is paris, egypt, tokyo, rooftops, las angelos and much more. There are even secret deathmatches for multiplayer. The game is also good for online and wireless multiplayer. You can verse anybody in the united states and there are different games you can pick like team, deathmatch, capture the flag and more. The gameplay is pretty smooth online and each player has there.

My name is Quinton Lee Freemansorry about being gay but its true it is my favorite game series for a while now since the day tm3 came out actually my xp name is klypso cause I think he was cool (is he in tm:HOif hes not that sucks hes awesome. my freind (or… freinds freind I dunno if you would call him my freind or not who cares)daniel (daneil daniel daneole how dose spell it… O.K.)has it and I have watched him play for 1level and 3/4s and it looked as good as tm2 (yes thats the best game in the series) and tmblack (score that one had best graphix and weopons) so this is the only game of tm i have not played (besides the first tm) yep im that hardcore of a fan oh well i will eventually own it and the controls cant be much different than ps2 only 3 buttons missin’ yeah this game has to be the best tm in the series c’monyou have to agree right? sorry for my lack of periods,caps,etc… twisted metal ROCKS!!! from a hardcore tm fan marysville, WA

I’ve been looking for a game that is perfect for the PSP and I’ve finally found it. Twisted Metal is highly addicting and extremely fun. The graphics are great for the small screen and there are lots of maps to play against other opponents. You can even play against up to 7 other friends who have a PSP by going through the infrared port or via a wireless LAN. I highly recommend this to others who like first-person shooter games.

game is great really takes you back to the ps1 but the controls are hard even if you customize it for that reason i give it 4 stars but if the controls were to be made a little more user friendly for the psp i would not have a problem rating it 5

I like twisted metal head-on, it is a great game. I haven’t played twisted metal since the third version on playstation, I regret letting my idiotic cousin trade it for one of the NBA Jam versions. But anyway this game is good, haven’t beat the last boss yet, I’m getting to it as soon as I master the technique of firing backwards and shield, I’ll beat him.Buy it.

*** This is an update to my previous review based on new info ***This is a very fast, fun, madcap game where you drive a monster garage-type vehicle around attacking everything in your path. Although the basics are pretty obvious – drive around, pick up ammo and shoot stuff – the game is actually pretty intricate, and loads on the complexity with special key sequences, mini games and mystery objects than endow special powers to the holder. Although this gives the game a lot of depth and potential, it jacks up the learning curve for us mere mortals.The single player mode apparently has a story to it, but I haven’t found one yet and I’m on the 3rd level – but that does not matter too much, the game is fun anyway! The character descriptions in the manual read suspiciously like they’ve been translated from Japanese, not in terms of their quality but in terms of their weirdness! If the story really does unfold as I progress that will be good, but for now, this is a stateless death match type game for me.On the negative side, I really get the feeling that I’m missing a lot of the potential of the game because I keep on dying too quickly. It’s only by playing it again and again that you get to learn what all the various power-ups do and learn appropriate circuits to run on the maps. I’m a FPS death match veteran and I’ve never come across such complicated, multi-level ways to destroy other players. Note that I wrote “destroy” and not “kill”: there’s no blood or guts in this game as.

The PSP version of Twisted Metal is a very enjoyable game. It’s fast-actioned and sports really nice graphics and smooth framerates. There are a total of 14 characters to choose from, and there are a great variety of weapons and special attacks you pick up to wreak havoc on your opponents. Four difficulty levels are available: super easy, easy, medium, and hard, so this game will appeal to gamers of all skill levels. In the hard level, your opponents move at lightning speeds, making it impossible for all but the best players to destroy them.As I mentioned, graphics is awesome on this game, and it never slows down. I love it.

Ok, this is a TIGHT game. It has a “Franchise” sort-of mode. Im really impressed with the lightning fast graphics, and almost all other aspects of the game, BUT I hate how the controls are set-up. Why mess-the control’s up? Well, ill leave it up to anybody to buy this game, with the risky controls. Im out

I liked this game for commuting because there’s no investment just flip that on and start the fun fast – which is exactly what I wanted!
