  1. Barret B.

By far the best city simulator so far. After the huge letdown that was SimCity this one is clear and away the winner.

  2. AUSCHNUSA

Best city building game so far. Although you have to pay for its 3-4 expansion packs (Afterdark, Snowfall etc) if you want to have the most up to date game experience, the total cost is still a good bargain for this good game.

  3. Aaron Steiner

good game a lot of fun but watch your ram as your city gets bigger

  4. Blake L

    Way better then Sim City!!

  5. Thomas lilla

Great game. What sim city shoulda been

  6. Evain

Very fun game, the direction SimCity should have taken…

Provides the steam code! Works amazing on my Macbook Pro Retina. Easily the best city sim, though a light learning curve to play, and a large curve to mod! But very rewarding!

I have enjoyed this game a lot. Looks great on my big monitor (31" 21:9). It did however lead me to finally build a new PC (needed to anyway). The new machine with a GTX 980ti handles it no problem at 3440×1440. My prior hardware (6 years old with mid range GPU) ran the game fine at lower resolutions (1080P).

EXCELLENT GAME. This game is all around amazing. From people who have never played a video game before to the hardcore dedicated gamers at /r/pcmasterrace, this game is for you. This game is what Sim City should have been. It allows for endless creativity and infinite hours of playtime. It gives you a world- you are in charge of your city, and are given limitless creative boundaries! Mods allow expansion and make this game an 8/8 for me.

This is the type of game that I love! Strategy-based, but does require some real-time intervention & is an ever-evolving combination of creation & puzzle-solving.The potential drawbacks/cautions:1. This will suck up a LOT of time. I installed the game on a rainy Saturday afternoon, started playing/building my first city, and eventually looked down at my phone to see what time it was and realized I’d been playing for about 6 hours straight. Seriously. It’s immersive and time will fly by. This isn’t the type of game you can jump onto for 20 minutes and then move on to other things.2. This may drive you to spend money on a new PC/hardware. I thought I had a decent laptop. And it worked just fine for about 12 hours of cumulative gameplay. But now my first city has grown large enough that the graphics card is maxed out, and the CPU isn’t far behind. Every element of the city can be clicked on and you’ll see tons of detail that is being tracked by the game. Example: every car on the roads can be clicked on, and you’ll see details of the specific driver, it’s origin, destination, and route. With thousands (even tens of thousands) of individual “cars” driving around, that’s a lot of processing power being used. About to buy my first desktop PC in 15+ years so I can have sufficient hardware (and ability to upgrade components) to handle this game.3. Mods: the open-source nature of this game means there are hundreds/thousands of mods that can be obtained – some for a fee, mos.
