This console is a lot of fun with the retro old style games. Extremely easy to set up and use. There are a of couple games I used to play years ago and I still find them entertaining. I especially like the controllers that don’t have triggers, knobs and joysticks. This is a simple controller and these are games I used to play without too many decisions to make on the controller. I would recommend this to a friend who knows what games are installed.

Everything works super great, super easy, super cool 30 games ! You do need a little adapter to stick the USB end into so that it can plug in. Most people have this generic type of thing around. Only has one controller, so get another if desired. I also bought the extension cables for the controllers on retrolio which gives you comfortable length if so desired. I bought this as a birthday gift for the wife at her request. She loves it and the kids love it. I’m especially glad that we took it on our cross country RV trip. It’s really small so you can stash it anywhere. Make sure to buy the cordless controllers to go with it. Super convenient. Do NOT buy the cheap Chinese knockoffs that are all over the place for $15-$20. Spend the money to get a genuine one. You won’t regret it.

Only thing bad is its the ukversion wich i did not realize. The wayi notice its because the controller on back says FRANKFURT as city of Germany and not FRAMKFURT like the fake one does [chinese or bootleg, however you want to call it]

Es una buena inversion, facil de instalar y tiene buena grafica para lo viejo que son los juegos. 100% recomendado. Lo unico malo es que el cable del control es muy corto.

I love that it takes me back decades. It works great and was a great price. The only downfall is once you turn off the system, you lose all your progress or if you go into another game. But from the research, they are working to help with this issue. Aside from that I’m loving it!!!!

The gameplay is exactly as it was In the 80s/early 90s, except I can save my game now. Hooks up to power via USB (like your phone charger, came with a cord but not a plug) and media feeds via included HDMI cable. Controller cord is short, way shorter than the original – I have to pull the whole little mini NES out to play it. My aged self can’t keep up with the games these young rapscallions play nowadays. It’s nice to be able to take a break and play some classics.

When the NES Classic became available again, I knew I had to get it. I still have my original NES from the 80’s but as a kid, I didn’t have the money to get some of the titles that are preloaded on this unit. I’m really enjoying playing these 8-bit gems on my flat screen TV. I’m sure you already know but you’ll need to purchase an additional controller (available on retrolio) for any two-player gaming and do yourself a favor and get some extension cables for the controllers (also available on retrolio).

Works like a charm. Just got it yesterday and all the games work and we have been having so much fun. I bought the cord lengthening bundle that has the extra controller and ac adapter with it and haven’t had any issue. We had an extra hdmi cable to hook it into the tv from the wii, so no biggie there. The games are so fun and what a neat thing to share with my own kids! We played kirby and zelda for hours! The console is tiny! Looks like a super mini version of the old one. Now I am going to order the super nes since this one turned out so well. This is a EU console so you do have to get the adapter for it and if you dont have the extra hdmi then that would be good too. This is the kit I bought: Piranha PerformanceAccessory Kit for NES Classic Edition with Controller, 2 Controller Extension Cables, Power AdapterIt was $20 but well worth it. You get an extra controller and lengtheners for the controllers and that ac adapter.Does it suck to spend the extra $20? Yes. But it’s fun and worth the enjoyment we are getting out of it.

An awesome retro gaming system. Having grown up with the original Nintendo this is a must have. Lots of the most popular game titles. Comes with a crazy long hdmi cord & usb power cord but the controller cord is only about three feet long. And there’s only ONE controller included! For the price its no big deal i guess. I spent an additional $25 for a set of wireless controllers. Although this is a vintage gaming system a cordless controller is preferred. I would have been willing to pay twice as much if Nintendo had included the wireless controllers.
