I was so dissapointed with the other Fitness games available for the Kinect. I have Yourself Fitness, and the workout was WAY too easy, plus you had to unlock content to get to the more advanced workouts. So this was a pleasant surprise, after you do the fitness test, you can pick any level of intensity, and any time you want! For those of us that buy the fitness games for fitness, this is what we want! Don’t make me buy a game, then waste my time doing easy workouts so I can unlock the content I really want.I did have trouble with Kinect recognizing my movements on the floor exercises, but that’s probably because I have the Kinect mounted basically on the ceiling. For everything else, it worked very well.

I gave this as a gift to a friend and they really enjoy the torture that Jillian lays down. They said it is a kick butt workout routine and that it works.

Seriously one of the best in front of the TV workouts out there! I got this for my boyfriend because he was doing a weight loss challenge and I’ve actually used it more than him (and lost 14 lbs Whooo Hooo)

This is definitely the most fun workout I’ve done. There is something about having Bob Harper tell you how and what to do that motivates you. You can change the intensity levels, so different kids of workout and yoga even! The fact that the Kinect can detect your body shape and size is amazing. I would recommend this to anyone. I had fun with it until I tore my Achilles doing the jump ropes. Not the games fault. Totally mine and my lack of coordination. I do plan to get back to it when the doctor clears me. I love this game!

I jumped right into the preset workouts, rather than customizing, so far the only one I’ve tried is the New You workout, it is a 4 week program for beginners. I like that it allows you to set how many days a week you want to work out and the duration of the workout, after each week you can reset these, along with difficulty of workout to make things harder. I haven’t had too much trouble with it properly tracking my moves, we do have a large room for our Kinect, and I am able to stand a good 8 feet or so away from the tv. After 30 minutes working out with Bob I am sweating! I also like that he asks how you are doing periodically and that they put time in for a drink of water. The menus can be a bit confusing at first, but after just 3 workouts I have it down pretty good. It can take a few minutes to get started because they sometimes want you to do another activity first, ie. take a quiz on your eating and health habits, etc. But once you get going into the actual workout it’s great!

This game is well worth of the money.I was having a sedentary life for years finding excuses not to workout, until I try The Biggest Loser. It’s motivating, capturing your body positions during the exercises. It ‘s reminding you where you have to correct your posture.I think the most important thing to understand is that is a game.A “healthy” game.Stay positive. It’s not about competition ,or whose winning (like I read one review).I mean you’re competing against yourself.Give yourself a break.Make the exercises, get up from your chair or from your sofa for 20 min.,make it fun.See if you can do it.There are different levels of difficulties. And there ARE results.I’ve been working out for two weeks now, moderate level,20min.I’m already in a better mood, having more energy and I’m not grumpy and fatigued anymore. And I changed some eating habits.Overall,I’m very very satisfied. You should try it too.

I used this obssessively for a while; good workouts, you can set your workout length and level, and they can be really challenging! I actually gained a lot of strength and got in really great shape by using first this, and then added Wii fit, and then outside activities. Using the kinect, the trainer tells you how you’re doing, such as whether you’re lunging low enough, etc. That element is really cool. However, it can be really buggy and not track your speed or activity correctly, giving you a crappy score. Also, while you can set how many days a week you want to work out, you can’t specify which days, which is annoying for anyone with a work schedule, and one of the days they make you do a biggest loser challenge and weigh-in, complete with voting off a contestant. Let me tell you, this is cute only once, and then its inconvenient and annoying. I do also wish it incorporated free weights. This gets four stars because, despite its interface flaws, it got me into great shape, and I never even got to the hardest level of workouts.
