I definitely enjoyed this buy for my gaming purposes on my ps vita….a game not easy to find in local gaming retail locations so extremely happy with this online purchase especially the rapid shipment….thank you, definitely worth the buy and future purchases from shop.

I always meant to buy this for the Wii but never got around to it, so I was excited when this came out for the Vita (which is a great system but has not had a stellar line up of games). The graphics are really gorgeous on the Vita’s screen; the hand drawn art style of Vanillaware is beautiful. I’m not the most skilled of players, but I was able to get through all the endings on the easy difficulty level. There are a few extra areas I haven’t been able to beat yet. I’ve put about 20 hours into the game and have enjoyed it quite a bit. The story isn’t spectacular by any means, but it’s nicely steeped in Japanese history and folklore. Collecting all of the different blades and discovering their powers is fun.

At first I just thought of buying this for the good price. After all most games are 60$ these days for home consoles and the extras seemed pretty good.Although the artbook is great and the pouch is kinda useful. The Vita case takes the cake for being incredibly useful. My vita can now be taken inside a backpack or any sort of bag without any extra protection. Its not specially sturdy plastic or anything like that, but it does protect the screen and controls and mine even took a small fall once with no damage at all.I haven’t even mentiones the game because well, everyone who has played the Wii version knows what to expect. A great action oriented 2d rpg from the makers of Odin sphere and the more recent Dragon’s Crown. If you like that kind of games then get this one

I first played muramasa on the wii, and it was one of the most vibrant games I have ever played. The simplicity of game controls mixed with the beautiful art style compliments the game as a whole and makes for a nice flow of gameplay. That would be my review for the wii version. This ps vita version is at least 3-4x better than that. I was expecting all touch controls, which kind of turned me off to the game. To my surprise and liking it plays the exact same and the colors on the vita are somehow better and it makes for a good game that you can pick up and put down without a problem. The fact that it came with all the extraslike the soundtrack (the music in the game is great!), a lithograph, skins, case, and pouch made me feel like vanilla ware and the others who did the distribution really care about their fans! The price was a steal in my opinion and I have only good things to say about it. I give this product a 10/10 or A++ or the highest rating anyone could give to a game, remake or re-release or not.

Love this game, Great graphics, good story line and awesome gameplay. I never played the Wi version of this game but the Vita version was very entertaining. The only issue is that I wish there was more too it; however, there are mutliple endings that I have not seen. Great game and a must buy for Vita.

I love playing this game. Since I currently live in Japan, it was even more enjoyable since I had been to so many places that you go in Japan. I wish more games were like this. Very easy to learn, and just pure pleasure to play.Oh, and it is the most beautiful game I’ve ever played…on any system, and the soundtrack is fantastic.

Muramasa Rebirth is a classic style 2D beat/slash ’em up with simple mechanics that are easy to get into. While that might not be all that innovative in 2013, the game’s art direction is stellar, with some of the best art I’ve seen in a game in quite some time. While the "special arts" are a little underwhelming visually, the rest of the game looks amazing. Highly recommended to old school 2D side scroller fans.
